yea another flag that indicates he no good and low was he had the nerve to ask katsidas after his loss whether or not his brother would be proud of him, knowing katsidas is upset of the loss and he didn't go to his brothers funeral so why mention his brother anyways

Why are u defending him ... how is he entertain?? he drags his questions and metaphors!! ... he knows more cuz that's his job ... al bernstein is better than he is ... Al knows the sport and actually does more cuz he breaks it down to how the fight is going to go down ... ... all merchant has is opinions and comparasons with a sense of humor only he understands

    I just rewatched it.

Merchant was clearly giving a thumbs down to Dibella when Dibella asked the HBO crew who they scored it for.

Yea I usually like Merchant he brings an old school flavor to the commentating, but I thought that was abit harsh on Litzau. Merchant acted like an arrogant ******* with no class and really even if Litzau had lost the fight he deserved a thumbs up for his effort. Kinda surprised me to see Merchant acting like a 12 yr old.

Did you read the ****ing thread, or just spout off talking out your ass?

Litzau was talking to Stewert, Larry was jabbering on about the fight, and Dibella asked Larry something and Larry pointed and put the thumbsdown.. not to Litzau, but to DiBella.

Also, Larry wasn't an ass to Katsidis, he pulled it out when it was clear that Kat was too torn up about it to really say anymore.. he gave him time and pulled the mic away at the right time. It was a question that had to be asked, because it was part of the storyline of the fight.. nothing good would have come from leaving the mic in front of Kat to try to get something else out of him at that point.

I dont really think he needed to ask it all..i dont buy the story line thing. it wasnt the worst thing in the world..but he was clearly trying to do a barbra walters and make him cry for the camra.

I think most guys would ask that question, or bring it up in a post-fight interview.. win or lose. It was a very natural thing to bring up.

Because Vodka breath's medication didn't react to well to the alcohol and made him sound crazier than usual during the night.

I thought Larry was just signaling that he was pissed off about being interrupted.

He was in the middle of saying something when Litzau was talking at him from the ring.
