I wouldn't have done what PBF did, but at the same time Merchant has never given him his due. He then insults PBF by interrupting him and trying to punk him, he was already wound up and Merchant tried to play Jim Gray, but Floyd isn't a referee.

PBF was right to put Merchant in his place. He got what he deserved having been showing PBF disrespect for years. He should have been praising and asking PBF how he has been able to maintain his high level of skills, precise punching, defence and ring generalship for years and how much longer he would carry on for not about questioning a legitimate knock out of the so called stronger and hungrier fighter.

I'm also still not finding anything that's wrong with what Merchant said in this specific interview. Just before he was cut off, he was agreeing with what Money said.

Floyd may know how Larry gets. But Larry damn sure knows how Floyd gets. When a fighter puts on a world class performance and the first thing you wanna bring up is the negative, your asking for trouble. Larry damn near asked the same question 3 times. Floyd gave him an answer but he kept picking at it until it finally happened. Again. Floyd blew up on his ass.

Larry getting cussed out was long overdue. I've heard too many smart ass comments coming from that dude's mouth over the years. The movie theatre I was at, about 75% of the viewers stood up and gave Floyd a standing ovation for it. Larry is probably the most hated comentator in the sport. That doesn't happen over night.

People say he just speaks the truth, well I agree, but he also goes overboard as well. And he's way more critical on the slick boxers than the brawlers. As a commentator your not suppose to show favoritism during a fight and I think he fails that miserably.

Side Note: The man has never boxed in his life. After a fight, what boxer can honestly take criticism from someone like that? Especially when the adrenaline is pumping. Lets be honest here.

Mayweather did nothing wrong other than demonstrate what a **** he is after the fight, yet again.

Such a shame that it seems mandatory in the modern age for elite boxing talent to be accompanied by loutish and classless behaviour. Barring Manny, that is.

I still fear that Mayweather will beat him if that fight ever happens. The man has far too much talent for such a total and utter *****.

how is it flawed ?

Corrales, Gatti, Ndou and Chavez are the only fights were Floyds really put some effort in to mixing it up and putting on a show, and the Gatti fight was 6 years ago, most of his other fights especially in the last 5 years he been a pot shotter and thats a fact.

 

Actually, Larry basically just hates BHop and PBF but he's given both credit before.

He just hates styles that he finds boring. BHop I understand that, but PBF I've never found boring.
