Larry knows his boxing, to think in the seventies he had long hair. Looked like a wild man.

Larry did bring out good points in his analysis. You are a blind Mayweather follower if you just dismiss his legitimate questions. This is not about Pacquiao's refusal for the test. He is not discussing that nor condoning it. Larry ask a valid question and people have posted their answers here. I also come up to the same conclusion.

so let me understand what you are getting at...you, a PBF fan, are not sure that he can beat Pac as-is? so you don't believe what PBF said in the past that he can beat Pac easily?

one of Larry's points is intriguing, if they do test and find something...would Floyd not fight Pac? even proclaiming that he can beat him anyway?

just as some Floyd fans say about Pac, would Floyd forfeit a $30-$40 million payday because of it?

if you are were not biased, you would look at it both ways...i like what Larry has to say here.

it's been said many times and larry merchant just confirms it.......

floyd is trying his best to avoid fighters who has a fair chance of beating him.....

that's the only logic to this "drug test " issue.....

and anybody who believes otherwise is living in a mayweather's dream....

i hope "common sense" will wake them up.....

Merchant is a blatant Mayweather hater.

Obviously, if Pacquiao failed a random drug test the fight would need to be postponed.

Merchant's "reasoning" here is strange. Mayweathter should thank the drug-maker for delivering "this kind on package"? The "package" being a jucied up Pacquiao?

    WTF???

Basically Merchant is saying that Floyd should take the fight regardless whether or not Pacquiao is jucing.

    Don't ask, don't tell - Eh, Larry?

And you *******s basically agree with this severely flawed logic and extremist viewpoint.

    Un-****ing-believeable...

Thats not what he's saying at all.

he's saying that if Pac is really juicing then if it wasn't for the steroids then this payday wouldn't even be available to Floyd in the first place. And that if he wants that payday he should fight Pac regardless of wether he's juicing or not, unless he thinks that Pac is better than him.

    The question Merchant's dumb ass [and the rest of you ignorant *******s] needs to ask is;

"Why is Pacquiao jeapordizing a 30-40 million dollar payday over one little randomly drawn vile of blood?"

"because he is not a cheater and doesn't deserve to be treated like one"

"because he thinks that drawing blood close to the fight will weaken him"

Merchants reasoning is based on Mayweather's constant claim he can beat Pac - even without proof of PED use.

So if Mayweather is that confident, then Merchant asks why insistent on the test if he can beat him anyway?

If Pac is tested for PED, then the fight would likely be canceled and any attempt to do it after would like reduce its mainstream attractiveness since many would likely not buy it this time believing that Pac would be not as good without the supposed PED. Then the whole "Money" Mayweather thing goes down the drain.

His logic is pretty straight forward.

I think you have missed the point.

    Merchant represents HBO.

It's NOT in HBO's best interest to promote a cheat.

However, this is EXACTLY what's happening when Merchant makes idiotic statements like the one above.

Floyd is WELL within his rights to demand a fair fight.

I guess Bro Naseem was wrong for having Margarito re-wrap his hands after it was discovered his gloves were loaded. Or maybe Bro Naseem was wrong to even look @ Margarito's wraps in the first place. OR, maybe since Margarito had been loading his gloves all along - Bro Naseem should have thanked Margarito's trainer for loading his gloves in past fights to bring Margarito to where he was in order to give Shane the opportunity and big payday.

Does any of that make sense?

Well, that's EXACTLY the same logic that Merchant and the *******s are using.

Even a 5th grader has more sense than that...

Are you accusing Pacquiao of being a cheat? I doubt HBO sees him as one.

noone is saying that Floyd isn't within his right to demand a fair fight. Certainly not Merchant.

You're still not understanding his statements.

    Well the difference is that
SSM did not constantly brag he will beat Marg. Confident? Yes. Brag? No

Second, SSM's nickname does not involve the word 'Money' in it.

Again, Merchants reasoning is based on Mayweather's supposed intent.
