The only one who Floyd put in his place was himself. That place being the unconfident, immature crybaby. He humiliated himself.
Larry is a Legend.. Notice how he came back to the interview calm and collected like nothin happened.. Pure Class
He didn't. It was something like this: Larry: Floyd, you came in as a gladiator and said you were an entertainer, but do you think this was entertaining? I mean the crowd was booing and several people left their seats before round 11, since you brought the subject up, what do you think of that? Floyd: [starts stuttering] You always give me a hard time :| and never the credit i deserve. Larry: You got a shutout, i gave you credit for that Floyd: Yeah but blablabal you do the commentating let me stick to the fighting Larry: I am commentating and as such asking you a question Floyd: You always keep your fingers crossed hoping that someone beats me :| Larry: Everybody wants to see a good fight, that's all And from there one he starts saying to the camera that he's the best, his record promotions are great, "Larry Merchant is just a commentator, he don't know nothing about boxing". What a respectless, arrogant crybaby. I appreciate his fights and he is a future bound hall of famer in my eyes, but that doesn't change who he is.
