Yeah I completely agree with this. I dont think he realized that all things come to end and he should of used his time at the top more wisely

Merchant might be one guy Jones can still take in a fight these days. Although, I've seen Larry throw mean overhand right.

Exactly. He should have been WBC champion but he refused it.

I remember when Larry asked Marco when he was going to take on a young lion or something like that. This was either after his fight with Tapia or Kelley. Did Barrera start going ape **** in Spanish? No. Did it even occur to me that Merchant was being disrespectful? No. The world wanted to know when Marco was going to go for another big fight.

Real boxing fans understand that Merchant is just doing his job and doing it well its the nutthuggers that only follow one fighter that have a problem with him and get butthurt when they see him ask their idol a tough question instead of kissing his ass like they would do if they were in Merchant shoes.

    Off topic:
How do you fancy Katsidis chances against JMM? I really wish Katsidis would leave his trainer as well

JMM is obviously the most skilled fighter of the two but he has slowed down a lot recently, hes also a slow starter i think Katsidis best chance is to put pressure on him from the start and try to get him out of there early, the longer the fights lasts less of a chance Katsidis will have cause once JMM adjustes to Kats rushes and gets his timing right he will pick him apart.

Kats has a decent shot but the favorite is still JMM but this fight a great clash of styles and has everything necessary to be a classic.

I like both fighters too but in this fight i'm going to root for Kats, JMM will lose again sooner or later might as well be to a class act like Katsidis.

Katsidis can hurt Marquez. I'm certain of that.
