Larry Merchant - What a ****ing disgrace

Boohoo, Larry said something negative about a fighter you like. Get over it, he is not a nuthugger like you and offers unqualified, nonbiased opinions. Martinez was exposed, not as a bum and that isn't what Larry was getting at, but as far less of a fighter than many were assuming by calling him a Top 5 P4P fighter. Macklin is a limited opponent and until he started gassing he was dictating the tempo of the fight and winning rounds. Credit to Martinez, he is a real champion, he is a good fighter, and he found a way to win, but Larry's point stands. He is vastly overrated.

Maybe you would rather have Kellerman who is a deluded fanboy who offers up such sterling Boxing insight as, "Roy Jones Jr would have beaten Frazier" or "Zab Judah is Sweet Pea with power".

 

I just knew it was going to be like that so I watch Sky. HBO always root and are hideously biased against the favourite, unless its Manny.

Merchant is a negative ***** who never had the guts to do what those he chastises do.

'30 years younger' **** it, stick him in a ring with Mayweather now. Tired of listening to him pontificating like he did ****.
