Larry Merchant would have called it a quit job

I thought the commentary yesterday was quite poor.

 

The real problem is guys like Merchant can talk about it but can't do it.

If Floyd were a mental midget he'd still be with Top Rank or fighting off TV in Monacco for relative peanuts.

Truth hurts.

 

I don't think anybody will dispute that being an announcer is a lot easier than being a prizefighter...Mr ***z.

That's why I see more fighters doing Larry's job than vice versa.:hi:

Steve is less knowledgable than most of the posters on here which is a perverse achievement.
