Big John's a nervous lad. I think Larry has to go at him from the get go and try catch him within first 3 rounds. I think if he allows John to settle he will lose on pts.

Think he will start to gas and become ragged technically and John's experience and decent ability will see him home.

Put the money on Big John, Larry's ****ing useless. No stamina whatsoever, not to say Big John has truckloads of it, but you can be sure he'll go the 12 better than Larry will.

I could draw Larry Olubamiwo and he'd have more skill than the real one.

Olubamiwo is incredibly awful. McDonut could get him out of there like he did with the poor Pele Reid. But we have also seen McDonut blasted out in a few seconds by Skelton.

Either Big Larry blasts him out early or he loses on points.

Always a question of if Johns heads in it, guy never believes in himself Mandandas right hes a nervous fighter to the extent it effects him negatively. Has enough experience to spoil Larry, John has been the distance enough and if he stays away from the bombs long enough he can wear big Larry down and grind out a points win but i just wonder if the threat of Larry's power will get to his head and John'l get blasted out quick.

Interesting fight, plenty of variables but wont change the domestic heavyweight landscape much

I like Mcdermott but those second Fury fight was draining.

I wonder how much it would have taken out of him mentally.

Mcdermott certainly has the skill to beat a very crude Larry O but he must be in the right mental state to do so. The McDermott who fought Fury in their first fight wins easily but the one who turned up against Williams in their 2nd loses.

Larry is not very good and will cry if he reads folk on the internet do not love him never mind when someone throws a punch at him....oh wait he went to the wild card so must be the greatest warrior ever and deserves everyone respect for that and not his in ring displays.

Larry will probably win this if any of the stuff he has talked about has worked. Can not see Big John being a force at all any more so good match making here for Larry.

Yeah I think it boils down to McDs mental state. He looked strong in the first Fury fight and then a shadow of himself in the 2nd one. You get the feeling Maloney's probably picked him cause he knows this...

If McD of a year ago turns up, he'll win all 10 rounds. If not, he could be out very early. Though I stand by my prediction of Larry scoring a surprise late knockout after being jabbed to death for 8 rounds

your the wrong way round again, fury was weak lost a stone with an inexperienced amateur trainer from withenshaw, with only 3 weeks to the fight, the second time fury was strong at 19 st, punched harder, john was exactly the same man.:think:good

Larry looks like a good boxer, until he boxes. He is just raw power, shame really, with a good trainer he could develop some skills.

Anyone know why the price on Big John is drifting? All things being equal (normal) I'm lining up a decent wedge on McDermott so if anyone has any info on this I'd be grateful for it. Obviously some money has come in on Olubamiwo as the price on McDermott went up from 2.88 to 3.10 in a matter of hours! I really think there is brilliant value in taking McDermott here..
