But that could be something like they don't know correct technique.

To properly test, you would need boxers "before and after" a few courses of steroids. Maybe a comparison group on placebo.

Mothers grassing out their sons is as rare as hens teeth I'd say. Again I wouldn't see that as the equivalent to what Larry did. It's not criminally illegal to take steroids from what I know it is just a bannable offence in sport. Selling/distributing peds is the crime to the best of my knowledge.

If Larry said he was giving up boxing but wanted to expose the lies behind the sport I would say fair enough. But for him to grass to get a reduced one year ban when he was the worst ped offender I have ever read about is a bit hard to stomach.

That's just my thoughts on it. It's open to opinion.

I agree with you that it's "hard to stomach" him being back in boxing so soon. (Or ever coming back.) I'm not saying that it's a good decision in his case to let him off so easily.

I'm just saying that it's a good thing to grass up drug cheats in boxing.

    Correct.

But imo, it's like using loaded gloves. It someone uses loaded gloves, then it's no longer a boxing match but a criminal assault. (Or should be seen that way.)

they make you stonger (if you bodybuild) and hold water in your muscles so you put on size, neither will help you win a boxing match or nay type of fight to be honest

  8. They enable you to train harder

And obviously you could then improve power

Surely some sort of strict standard length ban needs to be introduced in boxing across the board when its proven that a boxer has clearly been cheating, like in Larry's case. Cases where a boxer has unknowing taken a banned substance needs to be reviewed on a case by case basis. Dylan White appears more niave than anything, for example.
At the moment boxing is a total joke regarding PED's. Gamboa fought last week with some doubts over him being clean. Peterson fought again with no one getting to the bottom of his failed tests. More stringent testing needs to be brought in asap & a blanket ban for obvious cheaters like larry.

Part of Larry's ****tail was EPO. This increases endurance so will help you win a boxing fight.

  12. The reason peds are so effective in boxing is because boxing is such a physically demanding sport
With the use of epo you will have increased stamina which means you can train for longer running punching technique strength whatever
Then next day when you should be hurting and struggling to reproduce the same intensity it's easy because you will have something that oils your joints

This increased training in a fight will make you a much tougher opponent and I am positive it's how guillermo jones didn't succumb to the amazing amount of flush shots lebedev hit him with
Lebedev hit him so much he could hardly stand up from exhaustion.then people say it can't help your chin but it helps your strength and resistance so whereas an accumulation of shots would normally break you down now you are able to recover faster with no ill effects

Peds can enable a boxer to improve whatever they want power speed stamina it's just they have to still put in the intensive training

It is a disgrace to such a proud sport that boxers are cheating,if it doesn't get dealt with then it could end up like bodybuilding where everyone openly takes drugs
Then eventually the best will be the man who can stick the most needles in his ass daily
