He played for UTEP, I don't think they are even a division 1 college.

He was drafted very late and only played 2 season and only 16 games in 2 seasons, that is terrible.

Like I said, he was not ever a success in US football, in the college or pro-level.

Not trying to **** on him, but just letting you know the truth.

No one has said that he had success. Well, as a norwegian it's kind a small success just to get there.

UTEP is a Division 1 school. The guy got drafted and actually played in the NFL, that is not terrible. The vast majority of college players never come close to playing in the NFL, not even pre season games.

Here's an idea. Why don't you shut the **** up when it comes to subjects you know nothing about. :nono

Probably a better boxer than fotball-player. Derserve a fight against a top 10 heavy,
Helenius or Fury. Fury i prefer seems to have the weaker chin of the two

A lot of people get drafted who never play a down in the later rounds, especially the 6th like he was. He was not successful in college though and he wasn't successful in the NFL. You can live in a dream world if you would like, but that is the truth.

Hey hater, how many season did you play in the NFL? How often did you break records for the combine bench press, and agility portions?

Its completely shocking to see some worthless peice of **** ragging on another dude for making it to the highest level of competitions in a certain sport. the norweigian guy didnt even play football before he got to college. that right there is remarkable. He came to an American college, randomly picked up the sport, and actually managed to shine and get to the big leagues.

I don't have to have played a day in the NFL to objectivly evaluate Larsen and to tell you, who may not know, that he was never a star in college or a star in the NFL. He was nothing in US football.

Ive dont follow american football so im just going off wikipedia here, but u dont find it amazing that some random norweigan guy can come to america go to a college, and without any former experience pick up a sport and make it to the top ranks?

I mean he was competing against guys who've played since they were 6 or 7, and still he was able to make it as far as he did.

supposedly he broke some records for being the strongest player in the league. u don't find that impressive?

The guy played in the NFL. The absolutely highest level you can play at in that sport.

What upper percentile does that put him in???

Leaving aside the fact that he only picked up the game when he was about 20, how many guys playing for their highschool in football all over America end up playing in the NFL?

Somewhere south of 1% I would imagine. That to me sounds like he was fairly successful at football.

    Wouldnt you agree??

Him being norweigen means nothing. Plenty of people can never play football and pick it up in college. The garbage O-lineman that Philly picked up in the draft this year didn't start playing football until college and he played in an even lesser division than the one UTEP is in, he still is a garbage player though.

He didn't break any record for strongest player in teh league, he had one of the higher lifts in the combine, but the combine isn't a powerlifting contest.

He played 16 games in the NFL, great, doesn't mean he was a good player or effective in the NFL, the fact that he only played 16 games in 2 years tells you he wasn't that effective.

There are plenty of players who have had longer careers than he did, but are just as bad. He simply isn't a good player.

    HE PLAYED IN THE NFL!!!!!!

If hes not good that must make all those D1 college players who dont make it complete **** then! RIGHT?

I dont think anyone is saying he was some ATG footballer. They're simply saying the fact that he played NFL shows that was obviously massively talented.

You dont get drafted,if you're not extremely good. PERIOD.

Jeez, its like saying if some one just played a handful of games in the La liga in soccer,or in the NBA in basketball isnt good.

OF COURSE THEY'RE F'IN GOOD,THEY WOULDNT HAVE GOTTEN NEAR THAT LEVEL IF THET WEREN'T EXTREMLY GOOD!!!

Him playing 16 games in the NFL is 16 more that 99.99% of guys who start out playing football as kids ever manage to do.

Playing at the highest level of your given sport=you being very good.

    There is no other argument
