    Cleverley

17th Fight. Ko McIntosh. McIntosh was undeafted at the time with 10-0, went on afterwards to be European Champion (British Title Fight)

18th Fight Courtney Fry 13-2, KO in 8. (British Title Fight)

19th Fight Brancalion was 32-7 for European Title KO in 5

20th Fight against Karo Murat was 22-0 KO in 10 World title eleminator.

21st Fight was Mohammedi who was 23-1, fight was UD in 12. Interim title fight

22nd fight was Kuziemski was was 21-2. World title fight. Ko in 4.

All Cleverleys fights were for a title, opponents records were 121 - 12. Cleverleys last 6 oppnonents have since gone on to fight for a collective 8-2-1.

    Compare to Bellew.

    11th Fight Jindrich Velecky 16 - 6, Tony KO in 1.

12th Fight was Martial Bella Oleme who was 9-21-2. Tony went to a 6 rds points decision.

13th Fight was Atoli Moore who was 4-0. Tony KOs in 1 and shouts "whos next" and gets Bob Ajesafe.

14th Fight Bob Ajesafe (8-1), Tony UD's in 12 for Commonwealth Title

15th Fight Ovil McKenzie (18-9) Tony KO's in 8, dubiously after being down twice for Commonwealth.

16th Fight Ovil Mckenzie (18-10). Tony goes to UD 12 for Commonwealth and Vacent British

Record of Bellews opponents at time of fights collectively was 73-47-2, they since went on to fight for a collective 2-11.

In summary Cleverley has knocked out 5 opponents of last 6. Bellew has knocked out 3 of last 6. The gulf in quality is there for all to see. Bellew has been fighiting divisions below whereas Cleverleys fights have all been for higher quality title fights.

I have put a pound on a triple rollover tonight and that has as much chance of winning the jackpot as Bellew. If I do win I will buy EastSide Boxing outright.

    Good summary.

Its all hype mate is this. I called it for what it was before this fight was mooted. Mouths get you title fights nowadays :(

Cleverly has beaten better fighters than Tony a few times now. Clev by t/ko within 9 rounds.

This is a pretty pointless thread. Most people know Tony's got a big ask in front of him - certainly no one I've seen is making him the favourite.

Add to that Bellew has been knocked down 3 times in his last 3 fights.

i dont think there is anyone on cleverly's record that either ajisafe or mackenzie would lose too, i know not everyone will agree with that but the pole cleverly fought last time out was absolutely ****ing rubbish yet ranked 4th in the world.

Knockouts? getting stoppages more like. He stopped and overwhelmed many smw's and lads way out of his depth like McIntosh.

Clevs fought the better opp and looked better against them.

I think he wins pretty easily tonight.

Stoppage wise they are very similar at light heavy seeing as Clevs first four fights were at Junior Middle(dunno how the hell he made that weight)

I haven't posted in a long time, and haven't been following boxing as closely recently,

My view from seeing their recent fights, but not reading forums etc. is that this is not a close fight and really it shouldn't be happening. Bellew wars with sub-British level fighters and Cleverley looks above the European level fighters he's faced.

I expected the odds to be in the 1/10 region for Cleverley.

I was surprised to see 4/11. The most money I've put on a fight since Pac-Morales III.

Why would he be 1/10 against an undefeated fighter that clearly has a degree of power? You certainly didn't get smarter in your absence...

Because they've been fighting at different levels and one has been struggling. The one fighting in the lower class.

    This isn't a fight. This is ****.
