What the **** does Malignaggi losing have to do with American hope?

He was a no-hoper and not even the best of our available lot for Hatton.

lmao what the hell are you talking about
first of all... you sound crazy saying the "immigrant" community..

15% of america is "Latin" so the point your trying to make about only "immigrants" supporting cotto & marg is very ignorant...

2nd of all... oscar de la hoya was born in montabello california... so he is an american born american citizen ... just like juan diaz

there not american... but they get heavy american support...

The Next American Great could be any of the following up and comers

    Chad Dawson
    Re-emergence of Jermaine Taylor
    Pavlik Dominating 160
    Berto

I think the fighter with the best chance is Paul Williams

Most Latin Fighters are born in their native countries

    mexico, pr, cuba, domincan repub.

but they come to america in search of the big bucks and america accepts them with open arms.. not just the latin community but the black and white community as well.. America as a whole... thats what america was built upon and thats what it will continue to be built upon...

    30's/40's louis
    50's Marciano SRR
    60'S ALI,Liston
    70's Foreman,Frazier,
    80's Hearns,SRL,Hagler,Tyson
    90's Holyfield,RJJ,DLH

Pavlik, Dawson and taylor are not cutting it for me when you look at previous decade's, these guy's are good but not quite got the same aura of the above mentioned All time Greats.

Glad someone has mentioned Mr Cloud. I am looking forward to him fighting again. He battered Gonzalez last time I out, but I think he needs a couple more fights at top level.

    Guillermo Jones= crowd pleaser
    Wayne Braithwate= crowd pleaser
    Jean Marc Mormeck= crowd pleaser
O'Neil Bell= when in the right mood, crowd pleaser
    Tomasz Adamek= crowd pleaser
    Darnell Wilson= crowd pleaser
Felix Cora Jr. on the receiving end of a beating= crowd pleaser
    Enzo Macarenneli= crowd pleaser

Matt Godfrey vs. Nwodo= crowd pleaser
    --------------------------------

As for the next great american fighter/s...

James Kirkland is bringing plenty of excitement....

Tavoris Cloud seems like a future crowd pleaser... might win a title in that division....

im waiting on Mike Jones, Daniel Jacobs, Rock Allen and Devon Alexander to come up....

btw: Margarito was born in Torrance, California and moved to Mexico at a young age.. Technically, he's a US citizen...

When Cloud gets more experienced I'd like to see him fight Dawson.
