Last bout showed what problem I have with Floyd

This is it in a nutshell. When PBF stands his ground and doesn't move his defense is gone he gets hit too much and has no legs. When he sticks and moves he's boring a runner and doesn't throw enough. You can' t have it both ways. PBF is the most complete fighter in the sport and can fight in many styles and still be dominant.

Making **** up ?You're the one making **** up where did i said he threw combinations all the time? i have Whitaker's entire career on DVD i didnt just watched two fights like you did, of course there were fights where he was more cautious and didnt throw as many combinations like in the Chavez fight and his fight with Azumah Nelson a fight where he basically won the fight with his left jab alone in many other fights like against Pineda,Cardona,Pendleton, Paez etc, he stood his ground and beat them inside using combinations to head and body, then you have his fights against Haugen,second fight with Ramirez, second McGirt fight he went in and out throwing combination to head and body while not getting any punishment in return. And yes he threw much more combinations and took way more risks than Mayweather does dont matter how much you try to twist things to make your idol Mayweather look good thats the truth , hell did Mayweather even throw one combination against Guerrero? Damn *****s get butthurt over the smallest things.

I was around for the Pernell Whitaker days. He did it even better. Actually, he's the only fighter I've ever seen do it better, so that's a bit of a compliment to both men.

 

What's boring is not Floyd, it's the predictability of the fight. Everybody knew heading into the fight that Robert stood essentially no chance. When it became apparent Floyd was not going to go for the KO, this fight became an extension of so many others.

 

How many times have you ever actually watched a Rigondeaux bout? He boxes like that pretty much every time. He wasn't much more cautious in the Donaire bout than he was any other bout.

Here's a simple soloution to those who think Mayweather is a boring fighter. Don't watch him fight. Surely there's no gun to your head making you tune in. Let me know how that works for you next time he has fight.

This wasn't his most exciting bout, but I was still interested throughout. I was waiting to see if Robert could do anything. I expected a little more from the Ghost. I also expected a Floyd victory, however. I hope his next fight is against Canelo, or another exciting fighter. I watched all the buildup shows, and they just weren't as good as 24/7.

Common's voice is nice, but not really my taste for narration. It's a bit distracting. It's off topic, but it has somewhat of a connection to the point I was trying to make. lol

 

Liev Schrieber(24/7 narrator) is starring in a new series on Showtime. Maybe they'll get him to do the narration from now on.

 

Yeah, that's what I like in watching FMJ fight. Preferably when he fights guys that are supposed to try and overwhelm him with pressure and power like a bull and bullfighter - very good stuff, I don't mind him fighting the way he does. If I were him I'd do it like that too.

 

Floyd has been on the font foot walking down opponents since the Marquez fight so much so that You said his legs were gone he starts to box again and he's a runner what do you want?
