I'm afraid the fact remains that unbeaten records mean very little in boxing these days, as invaribly, when the best fight the best, they are going to lose, it's just the way boxing works. Like you already conceded, Floyd's record does not stand up to the greats of Boxing History. His inablity to fight the best fighters out there shows that. His weight jumping, while very impressive, has been done better in the past by the likes of Langford, Charles etc.
