November 2009 will be the last fight for Pacquiao.

Manila, Philippines: "“Siguro last fight ko na ito para magserbisyo naman ako sa mga tao," Pacquiao said in an interview on 24 Oras."

Translation: I think this will be my last fight so I can serve the people.

    :-(

I hope this will not be true, I would like a PBF vs PACMAN fight.

Then he's better off not taking a fight in November at all and wait for Mayweather/Marquez. Everyone wants him to fight the winner of that one rather than a pointless fight with Cotto.

Whatever he does I'll be supporting anyway.

yeah i've heard that in the evening news yesterday. he said that it would probably be he's last fight and would concentrate in running for politics next year. he also said that his mother really wanted him to quit long time ago but he said that he can still do it at least one more time.

sucks that floyd had to postpone his fight with jmm. pac wants that fight as his last but i understand that pac has a time table and could not wait for floyd until next year.

And pac****s, dont give me any bull****, there aint no way any real fan can be happy with this ****.

I actually think that Filipino voters will not vote for him just so they can see a PBF-Pac fight. So he will be back after the elections.

pac had said that he will wait for floyd-jmm winner. but floyd had to postpone it due to rib injury or low tickets sales? and if it really is true that it is a rib injury, how sure is pac that floyd would heal fast and make sure of a pac fight? floyd is the one making it hard for this fight to be made. pac has his own time-table. **** floyd if he thinks pac can always wait for him. pac is the draw right now and not him.

what makes him think he will be able to make a real difference as a politician. surely there are better qualified and more experienced individuals for a senate seat. he should at least wait till he gets his degree so the post has a little more credibility should he get elected. i could understand if he was a proven leader and not just a boxer.
if he quits because he promised his family then i will wish him the best of luck.
