Goin back a bit, I would say Ali hugging and mugging his way through Frazier II, and out smarting the crude slugger young Foreman once. He was an underdog in both fights, because fans in his time didnt think he was really that good :hi: This content is protected
was he not the favourite for all the fraizer fights, But Ali was the underdog to both Liston fights, which he won Back to Back in 64 and 65
Good call. Glen Johnson would have more such streaks if he hadn't been robbed so many times. Ditto Emmanuel Augustus, I suppose.
Oh yeah, Mayorga over Andrew "No Chins" Lewis and Vernon Forrest was a pretty shocking, out of nowhere kinda thing! Great example.
:good yep, johnson was the underdog for both jones and tarver. he was voted fighter of the year off the back of those two wins.
Well for Bradley I'm pretty sure he was a fairly big underdog against Witter, thend he follows that up with Cherry, Holt, and Ped..erson.. I'm pretty sure he deserves a shout... And for Martinez he beat Cintron twice in one night and still only got a draw, and hey, I thought he beat Williams twice.. These are the guys who came on as a shot in the dark and didn't just have one lucky night.. They proved to be the real deal... Thats a great call on Johnson..
