True, most people believe he lost to Manny but then Pacquiao is a lot better than anyone Ward has ever fought

Well in that case Ward does deserve to be up there. It's gonna be a pretty small list though because most guys who don't cherry pick and actually fight top opposition will lose. Bradley, Mayweather, D. Garcia and Ward are the main guys who have gone undefeated against decent opposition in their last 5 fights.

    Probably Mayweather.

    (I'm a Mayweather hater.)

Perhaps forgetting someone, but there is one fighter who clearly takes the cake under this threads' question:

    Floyd Mayweather

    W MD12 Saul Alvarez - Lineal JMW
    W UD12 Robert Guerrero - top 5 WW
    W UD12 Miguel Cotto - top 3 JMW
    W KO4 Victor Ortiz - top 3 WW
    W UD12 Shane Mosley - top 3 WW

L to Ward disqualifies him from this thread.

Yusaf Mack was a recently KO'd LHW coming down with nothing going for his career at that point really.

Groves stoppage is considered one of the worst in recent years. He only got the credit AFTER how well he did against Froch in defeat.

Bute and Kessler are extemely legit wins...

However, clearly and by a wide margin below Mayweather, Bradley, etc.

Then why are you talking about cherry picking? Guys who don't cherry pick are more likely to lose.

How is that possible when Floyd and Bradley, 1A and 1B for this thread, are undefeated?

If we don't factor in results, than Chop Chop Corley, Augustus/Burton, and Zack Page are two of the better and more recognizable fighters of the era.

If you want to ask who fought the best in the last 5 fights (who cherry picked the least), that is one question.

If you want to ask who has the best record in the last 5 fights, that is another question.

For instance, if Marquez hadn't fought Pacquiao twice and Bradley in his last 5 fights he probably wouldn't have lost any of them.

They are 2 different questions with 2 different answers. I'm not sure what the OP is getting at.

Not Froch as he was dominated by Groves and Ward. Mack was also nothing more than a payday for him.

Garcia,Floyd would be my two picks.Bradley went to war with Provodnicov and was dominated by Manny plus JMM is about 50 years old

    For a little comparison.

    Floyd ---------- Bradley ------- Ward -------- Garcia

    Guerrero ------- Casmayor ------ Abraham ------ Morales
    Mosley -------- Provodnikov ------ Bika --------- Morales
Alvarez --------- Marquez -------Dawson -------- Khan
    Cotto ---------- Pacquiao ------- Froch ------- Matthysse
    Ortiz ----------- Alexander ----- Rodriguez ------ Judah

It's pretty simple what he's getting at.

A resume isn't just who you fought. It's how you performed and what the result was. This is a question of whom has the best resume in the last 5 fights. It's Mayweather. Just because you don't like the answer doesn't mean you should pretend to not understand something in an effort to discredit it.

But JMM did fight them so your point is irrelevant.

Marquez also fought that guy Ramos and won with a very suspicious knockout oh and he also fought Fedchenko!!!

I rate Pacquiao's decision loss to Bradley more highly than Floyds win over Guerrero and I also think Bradley has a better last 5 fights resume than Floyd.
