Last I heard, winning 7/8 rounds, knocking down the dude 5x isn't struggling.

He wasn't strugling. He went life and death. The worst title fight for the last 50 years. The work in progress v top 50 guy.

No, he's not. WBC rankings has been a disgrace for a couple of years and you know it.

I actually agree with MVC for once, you can struggle in moments but it's not like he got ran to a close decision or was in a war or anything, every fighter can have a bad night or have a lack of motivation, it was a credible performance, nothing spectacular against a guy he ought to be beating easily but not exactly shocking.

Then again if someone MVC doesn't like, not one of his zealously supported demi-gods, put in this performance, you just know he'd gleefully throw his fingers to create a thread suggesting the guy is a laughing stock and has no business in the sport. (None!)

I think he did struggle. I feel he lost two rounds and also it seems every time Molina decides to come forward to unleash his offense it was successful. This was one of his tougher fights.

I couldn't care less if Wilder wins or loses.

I'm as neutral as it gets with this guy.

Now, all Wilder is doing is knocking folks out. What's wrong with that? The hate he gets is crazy.

He's a modern day Tommy Morrison. Yeah, chances are he'll get knocked out by someone he shouldn't at some point, and he probably gets hype and paydays he shouldn't, but welcome to the world of the heavyweight American knockout puncher.

Mr. Wilder's delivering entertaining fights. He keeps it up, I've got nothing against the chap.

Wilder carried Molina and knocked him out in the 9th as soon as the HBO main event started. This isn't a coincidence at all.

Wilder could of KNOCKED OUT Molina anytime he wanted. He simply just wanted to give the fans their money's worth so we wouldn't miss a single second of action.

What a very generous man. We should all appreciate Wilder more. :yep

It wasn't so much the struggle with Molina that made for an uncertain fight for Wilder but the struggle with himself. He fights much better than he displayed With Molina. He struggled with maintaining a disciplined game plan and that made him look unprepared to carry the mantel of Champion to the next level.

Molina was "picked" to be a soft defense. The fact it took 9 rounds and that Molina had moments is red flag. Poor performance.
