By the sounds of it you're the one in need of a reality check calling it a joke. You have no reason to say that other than how he hasn't even accomplished anything in the pro ranks. Well as an FYI that whys no one considers him anymore than a hot prospect.

Oh wait your basis for claim is that you heard from your best friend that knows someone who knows someone who has seen Khan getting starched in the gym, and you think I need to grow up! :yep

Please, he's the most well known boxer in Britain.:rofl

And yes, he was starched in the gym, multiple times. As well as rocked badly in amatuers by a non-puncher.

There is nothing that is phenominal about the kid at the moment, not to the level that dictates this type of excessive and exploitative promotional hype. Wait until he gets starched proper by an average fighter, thereby making the establishment and therefore British boxing look absolutely silly ridiculous.:hi:

    Actually Emma that's a very good point.........shame for Amir he's 21 in less than 5 months .

About time he starts to grow up before he becomes a Mayweather that stumbles over his words and can barely talk .

i m no expert, but surely if khan was to win this fight inside the distance, with a convincing KO, detractors would have to take a step back. though limond is not a noted puncher, he s the champion and a good win would definetely count as a valued one. saying that i think khan will scrape a points decision.

I just heard the Khan interview Rooq was talking about, & I thought Khan came across as a bit of an *******. However, I am willing to give Khan the benefit of the doubt due to his young age.

However, if he beats Limond & starts screaming about how great he is, I may find myself hopping aboard the hate train.

I always thought he was a decent lad, but that bull**** he was spewing about his body shots & ****, I hope we dont have another gloater like Hatton on our hands. Thats all I ****in need!!! One is bad enough to listen to, never mind two...

i'm glad someone else has heard it! written down it wouldn't have seemed so bad, but there was just something about khans attitude in that interview that wasn't right.

as i said earlier, hopefully someone will explain this to him and he'll tone down the pantomine arrogance and just let his skills do the talking. :good

That's going to happen if he wins, no doubt. Welcome aboard Dunky...

Please, everyone refer to the great express as the "Anti-Khan train", not the "hate train", we're class and political, not any type of ethno-hate or cultural hate driven, just anti-bad exploitation by way of this overrated china chinned joke fighter.

    Plus, he's annoying...

maybe it should be called the "anti-amir khan the sports network fighter" train. as we don't want to offend any innocent khan's out there.

anyway, i'm not even on the train yet. he still has a chance to redeem himself tonight.

The Khan interview - wicked, you know what I mean!

click on Khan confident of first title win next to Amir's picture, just under Boxing: Highlights and Features, middle left as you look at the page.

In terms of personality Khan is just not a likeable guy.

And, contrary to what has been said here you do not to be an eloquent public speaker to be well liked as boxer. Look at Bruno, and even Naseem to some extent...

He is definately trying to be the "big I am" like how Naseem marketed himself. The problem for him is that he has glass chin, one even his management is scared of exposing, which is shown in their match making him against guys who could not even break an egg, they know he will be exposed against an average fighter well before he makes the millions Naseem made.

Are you serious and this interview seems pretty harmless. He said the typical things a fighter says before a fight. Says he's gotten bigger, feel stronger worked on not moving the feet as much....etc. and that offends you! :patsch

Where did I say I was offended? Where did I say he says weird stuff? :huh I am just having a bit of a laugh at the way he talks, that's all...what's wrong with that?
