last night is no indication of how manny vs floyd would look

pacs combos also looked amazing as did his speed. pac might actually be slightly slower than floyd but he throws much better combinations and i think probably has pretty comparable power - that right hand that rocked margo was amazing

 

Manny had to punch up last night so if he were ever to face Floyd he would probably decapitate him. Floyd has never been tested with a prime two handed monster that can move is quicker than him throws 4 punches to his 1, Floyd is tailor made to be knocked out and will avoid this fight for as long as possible.

 

Manny has the power but he's still most effective in a toe to toe exchange . A moving target that doesn't exchange with defense is different than a slow,robotic huge target with no defense . Manny is great at Rocken Sockem. But what happens when he's out of his broken record element of slower fighters that go toe to toe with him. Floyd is the only fighter that does what he does . Hit to not get hit. Manny has graduated to speed chess but Floyd nearly always makes an opponent fight his fight at his pace. Oscar ,Hatton,Cotto,Clottey,and Margarito were all stationary fighters who brawled with Pacquiao and fought his fight on his terms. Floyd doesn't play Rocken Sockem and he doesn't care if the crowd boos. Whether by a inch or miles a win is a win and he won't risk being in a mexican stand off to please anyone but himself . It's a whole different ball game that Manny is not adept to.

What's great though if this fight is made is that Manny will hopefully push Floyd to his limits which is a very rare occurrence . Manny has the hype but Floyd is the cold, hard, boring truth. 41 times says so and they weren't tomato cans like people try to make them out to be and they were all shapes,sizes,colors and styles.
