Pac knocks him out earlier. I'm not saying Pac is necessarily a better fighter, but think about it: Marquez was getting the better of Diaz when he moved laterally and fired in combinations. Diaz was getting the better of Marquez when Diaz backed him up to the ropes. Manny Pacquiao's speed, lateral movement and elusiveness would not allow him to be caught on the ropes. He would be perpetual motion, in and out, slicing Diaz up, never allowing Diaz to pin him down and batter him on the ropes. I think Manny punches slightly harder than JMM. yes a fairly early stoppage.Pacs foot movement and speed is crazy and it has carried up. I don't see getting caught that often or lying in the ropes which caused Marquez alot of trouble.While Pac might not have that one punch power I believe that physical power is more so now .At these weights Pac doesn't have to starve himself and show up dehydrated anymore=stronger healthier Pac
I think you get a similar result. I see Diaz being able to bull Manny around for a few rounds only to get worn down by the cleaner punching.
