Some points on the action last night.

Fight of the Night - Froch v Pascal - Candidate for fight of the year i.m.o both men traded great shots

Man of the Night - Manny Pacquiao - Flawless performance on the big stage

Suprise of the Night - The non performance of ODLH - Ricky Hatton was right, it was sad to watch Oscar, I havent felt as bad as that watching a fight since Gatti was destroyed in his last fight

Flop of the Night - Oisin ***an - Fought the worst possible fight he could have, he never got his jab going, threw around 15 ridiculess over-hand rights and none a them ever looked like landing, it was like he taught all he had to do was rush Khan, it was terrible,, awful (Great right hand by Khan all the same)

Laugh of the Night - Audley Harrison - "the dream isn't over"

Miss match of the Night - Enzo Mac v Mathew Ellis - Heavyweight or not that man shouldnt have been in the ring with Big Mac
Add your own answers lads / add points as ya think of them

As an extra point - Oisin ***an cost me 1290 euro on a ten euro accumilator bet I made. The bet was McCloskey, Enzo Mac, Carl Froch, Marty Rogan and ***an all to win,

Nice post, shame about the bet. Usually the fave's arse the bet. Spurs won me 1008 pound a few weeks ago, 5 quid footy coupon.
Froch fight, watched at friends, had to contain maself a bit which was frustrating( no windmilling in ma front room)

Defo a fight of year etc, both stood hands down and within distance for 12 rounds and took whatever either gave.Pascal seemed to start his combo's with body shots a lot, he certainly is a respected loser. Was awesome and it was on ITV

Maybe the "im not buying it" crew will have enjoyed also

    cheers

    Hairy :happy

It was always going to be more of a case of Khan loosing rather than ***an beating him.

I still believe that if Khan had have been gun shy because of what happened last time Oisin would have had a shout at beating him.

If ifs and buts were candy and nuts!

well done to Khan his handspeed is phenominal but he still needs to sort out his defense.

I was talking to you before about it Padster.
I think Oisin got the tactics wrong altogether, he shouldnt have came out the way he did, I don't want to be too harsh on him, he did his best, just I was disappointed because he could really have made a match of it

i always used to think that khan was open to overhand rights...so to see ***an do that i thought he had some correct game plan...but, they werent sharp, slick over hand rights...they were fookin bolo punches you would see coming a week away...
i dunno, probably just comes down to a big difference in class, and that apart from punch resistance, khan is a very very good boxer.

Yeh true, khan is skilled, but I think hes beatable if you fight a disaplined fight and wait for an opening.
Hes got lightning speed and is a class counter puncher so I dont think going into the fight like the way Oisin did was ever going to work, maybe the occasion got to Oisin a bit, because I truly doubt he trained in Breens gym to fight the way he did.
I will say fair play to him tho, it takes balls to fight at that level against anyone
