Its like everyone he beats, maybe going back as far as Judah. Goes on to do **** things, even if they looked impressive prior to fighting him.

DLH was champ and the top 154 and then goes on to get stopped and his career ended by Pac
Hatton was undefeated goes on to get stopped and career ended by Pac
Mosely was lineal champ at 147 then goes on to get battered by Pac and Canelo
Ortiz was champ and off FOTY, then goes on to lose to JOSESITO LOPEZ
Cotto was champ then goes on to lose to Trout.
Guerrero STILL hasnt returned to the ring.
Canelo is yet to be seen?

Does he really damage his opponents mentally or is it all just a coincidence?

Maybe he's picking the right opponents at the right time just like many accuse Pacquiao of doing?

could be that, but if they all looked impressive before fighting him, how can you blame him? Would you rather him fight losers?

he exposes their hype and weaknesses.
It is obvious now to everyone that Alvarez is not that great, so he will be forced to fight the midlevel guys who are hungry and will more likely get beat up.
Also his next opponent will have less respect for his ability and will be more likely to walk him down.
    PERCEPTION IS REALITY!!!

I don't blame him. Floyd is just good at choosing opponents. He often fights guys when their stock is high after a good win.

The greatest fighters tend to come from the toughest environments growing up. Hungry, cold, exposed, abused......They fight to overcome, and money typically end the cycle, except where abuse/drugs etc are concerned.

Guys like Guerrero.......the payday was enough him and his kids will NEVER have to worry bout $$$$ so long as daddy and momma don't go crazy.

He might never fight again. It was always about the $$$$ for him. It wouldnt surprise if he never resurfaces.:think

Hatton had one of his best performances against Paulie after Mayweather fight.

DLH was NOT top 154, he only beat Mayorga who was basically gifted that WBC belt. Oscar was past prime already. He retired after Pac cause he got a bad beating. Something Floyd was unable to do.

Mosely was NOT lineal champ at 147 , merley the no 1 contender. He beat Margo who Cotto who won that title in a vacant title fight, please stop passing on this untruth.

Ortiz had his sh!t pushed in by Maidana and quit previous.

Cotto had been beaten into submission pummelled and tkoed twice by Margo and Pac. Mayweather coouldve done more if he chopse to be an agressive fighter.

    Gurrerro is garbage.

Are you trying to suggest that these defensive style fights with low punch output is ruining fighters ?

    :lol::lol:

Many people see it as floyd diminishing and disheartening fighters but thats a stretch. For example, we know cotto fought a good fight against floyd and wasnt destroyed like he was against margarito or Pac so why would floyds victory over him suddenly take a toll and have cotto on the slide?

zab judah looked like sh.it before fighting him, because he lost to a guy with 9 losses
you are truly delusional....SSM was damn near 40, oscar picked up a cheap ass belt by fighting yory boy campas and not real champs like winky and vernon, and got beat up by sturm. ortiz had all of 1 title fight win...whoopie.
guerrero was a lifetime featherweight ffs
cotto was a fight no one wanted to see...another duck of pac
how about a new subject fan boy :|

Let's do the same thing with Pac man ->

De La Hoya- absoloutley runied as a fighter, destroyed knocked out and retired.

Hatton -> on his back, dead in the ring, retired 3 yeasrs , tried a comeback never the same . ruined.

Margarito- > dissolved in the ring, ever ever the same- glass eye replacment.

Eric Morales- Fist time ever knocked out in a long long career- twice in a row in fact.

I think you may be right, it seems he is a family man and will be content to enjoy the money with his family
