I for one believe that ortiz's face would have been swollen by round six and accumalation of punishment would have began to set in. That being said, Ortiz is a big kid fighting at welter. It is a good thing has a great chin with defense and intelligence to boot!

He landed two solid ones (right hook Floyd walked into and a follow-up left hand) and another one after that. I see three more glancing ones after that. The rest hit air or shoulders, and I guess you could say that right to the body connected. He wasn't hurting Floyd or landing super cleanly, but Floyd retreated to the ropes ineffectively and was not returning any fire at all. For that moment he was not in control.

Mayweather won that round. Buckled Ortiz early in the round.

there's another combo on the ropes, where floyd took some big shots. Ten walked away shaking his head,
    That was ortiz best moment.

Overall Ortiz was doing better than i expected. He was losing most of the fight, You could arguable give him round 2, And round 4 he was having some success.

I personally think we were robbed of an awesome fight that would have ended with a KO win for mayweather, but only after some big moments for ortiz.
You could tell ortiz was playing the 12 round game. He was conserving alot of energy.

i also liked the way ortiz would sometimes through punches to where floyds head was moving, not where his head was when throwing the punch. (seen clearly with that 1st shot in the GIF)

****ing douschebags give credit, Ortiz was bringing the pain unlike many past Mayweather opponents.

And it would have been Mayweather best performances if it wasn't for his slick black trickery...

This is what bugs me out about Floyd sometimes. It's like, what are you doing, circle out, stop leaning back and eating left straights. Ortiz also did really well to fold up Floyd's arms by leaning on him in that exchange; square up the body, inhibit the motion of the defensive roll, and neutralize the counters, particularly that laser right hand.

But I agree, I would have liked to see Floyd continue putting on a masterclass and stop him legitimately, but also looked forward to Ortiz putting on the pressure and having more moments as well. Shame.

Not really now, ortiz mentally would have been out the fight by the 6th round.

The problem is Bogo, he didn't "eat" one solid shot in that rush by Ortiz.

I'm sure floyd who has been boxing his whole life with great success knows what he is doing in there.

Last time I checked floyd did stop him legitimately:patsch

Ortiz didn't land one clean shot in that flurry.

Probably the first shot got his attention after that it was business as usual. Ortiz tried the oscar tactic of bum rushing him on the rope but that is where floyd sets traps for his opponents.

Mayweather won every round and Ortiz was getting more and more frustrated...
