It was Mayweather's best round. Idiots around here get excited about a big musclebound freak throwing some sloppy flurries to the body and missing at a 100% clip. Floyd gets tagged twice while pulling backward, isn't the least bit affected, and OMG ORTIZ WAS ABOUT TO KNOCK HIM OUT!!!! Bitches please. Mayweather landed some of his hardest, flushest shots of the night on Ortiz in the couple of minutes before the headbutt. It was another statistical domination, AND Floyd was landing the cleaner better quality punches. All Ortiz's stuff that got through was grazing as Mayweather was moving.
...except score? Because, you know, that's how boxing works? Scored on clean effective punching - of which Floyd was doing plenty in the 4th, and Vic very little? :deal "Oh, his pressure was bothering Floyd..." I'm sure Floyd was more bothered by his poor taste in haircut and bad tattoos than he was by his so-called pressure. (which was really just Floyd lulling yet another overeager sucker to the ropes to set up shop as he always does)
Floyd was winning the fight on clean punches, without a doubt. It still was a good fight and it might of got interesting down the stretch! Ortiz landed the hardest punches of the fight in the 4th round IMO.. (Not counting the Sucker Punches).. What does Vics hair cut and tattoos have to do with anything? Oh I forgot you don't like Ortiz. You're Bias just like me! :rofl
I couldn't agree more. PBF loves to fight on the ropes has done it his whole career and is at home there. He frustrated the hell outta Ortiz as he does many opponents when he fights there. Ortiz was frustrated at his inability to hit PBF clean even when he had him on the ropes, giving it everything he had. He got frustrated knew he was outclassed and fouled.
That round could have went either way. I think the judges probably would have been split. Ortiz did land a couple of clean flush punches. Personally, Mayweather won the first half and Ortiz did enough to win the second half but Mayweather ****ed him up with that uppercut that made Ortiz fall forward, grabbing onto Mayweather for dear life.
