last saturday night was a huge success for mma

    i like boxing too, but i like mma just as much. let's face it. all you butt hurt boxing elitists keep trying to spin the definition of the ufc's success. you claim toney pimped the ufc, how the fight was a joke and a bunch of other ridiculous crap. all you insecure, threatened boxing fanboys need to realize that the fight between couture and toney was a joke, but it was a huge success for the ufc and mma in general. it has garnered huge publicity from the boxing community. more boxing fans tuned in than ever before out of curiosity. toney made a killing, but dana white was the genius that saw the bigger picture. even though hardcore boxing fans and mma fans might not agree, the fight saturday night pretty much settled the age old argument of boxer vs mma'ist. mma won. dana white won. the ufc won. mma won. dana white paid peanuts to tony while in the process used him as a pawn for a huge publicity stunt. the boxing community is a buzz, just look around you, even here on this very site. some boxing fans are even appreciating mma now. you can fight it or accept it. mma is only growing and isn't going anywhere.

    A pure boxer will always lose to a MMA fighter. MMA fighters have a lot more skills. Pretty much they have a lot more ways of beating you. Now lets see Floyd Mayweather back up all that racist bull**** he was talking. All of us white guys ran to the UFC because we can't beat blacks in boxing. Mayweather would get his ass kicked fast. At least Toney has the balls to try to back up the **** he talks. Boxing is going to ****. UFC is where the young people will be fighting. Boxing is going to die. I used to box but now I'm learning MMA.

    You people with your tired gay **** that you learned from Toney. I suppose you feel that the soldiers in the US military including the Marines are gay too because they train in hand-to-hand combat which includes wrestling? Hmmmm? When your life is on the line you better know how to do more than just wing a punch. There's nothing gay about subduing your enemy in the most effective manner possible. Especially if it means life or death.
