The most true words Jeff has ever spoken.

Article taken from today's Daily Telegraph with said highlighted points.

****ing Mandy's nuthuggers such as Ash will obviously disagree as they think he's the saviour of the universe but as far as Australian boxing goes, he's turned it into a dismal embarrassment.

JEFF Fenech reckons there is no longer any pimp suit, fake throne or bad rap that can hide it.

    Fenech told The Daily Telegraph.

"Garth Wood will knock him out within six rounds. Possibly three. And when he does ... I think that'll bring a nice full stop to all debate about Anthony's standing, don't you?"

Once chaired to the ring on golden thrones, Anthony "The Man" Mundine is tonight fighting to save his career against a fella who, only months ago, fed his family by working three jobs, cleaning the porcelain variety.

An unlikely Sydneysider who not only beat the most polarising athlete in Australian sports history, but knocked him cold.

A fella who tonight enters the Brisbane Entertainment Centre flanked by Fenech and complete fearlessness.

"I've heard Anthony talking recently about our first fight, saying my win was a fluke," Wood said last night. "But the bloke is delusional, absolutely delusional.

"I'm not going out there to retire him but if that's what happens, if that's the result of me beating him a second time then, yeah, I'll take it."

Despite enjoying a flawless build-up to tonight's rematch, Team Wood remain cautious about their rival's demand that the bout takes place in Brisbane. Queensland is the only Australian state without a government legislated boxing authority.

The last time Mundine fought here, he was allowed to weigh in at his dressing room hours before the rest of the fighters on the card. And when he cornered Sonny Bill Williams' fight, no one stopped him from standing on the ring apron during rounds.

Asked last night if he harboured any concerns, Wood said simply: "I'll let my two fists be the judges."

However, The Daily Telegraph understands Wood's manager Michael Karagiannis is already planning civil action should the fight end with a stench.

"We know why they're wanting to hold the fight in Queensland," Fenech said. "Everyone in Australian boxing circles knows.

"But if you thought I was confident Garth would win that first fight, mate, you can times it by 10 now.

    "Anthony says he's the greatest,

After refusing interviews with The Daily Telegraph, Mundine told a press conference yesterday that Wood "didn't knock me out, he woke me up."

"And I am going to make it," Mundine said when asked about fighting in the US. "It's just a matter of time - it all starts with my resurrection tomorrow."

Jeff is a grub and has been hanging around waiting for someone to beat Mundine so he can say I "told ya so"
He just hates anyone in boxing who gets attention he does it with green too.
I cant wait to hear what he has to say tomorrow when his man's fairy tail ends. Mundine to dismantle Garth's shitty style and makes him look second rate.......:hey

A grub you say? J.Fenech may be this outside of the ring but his achievements, i.e his three 'genuine' world titles in different weight classes and his career took him to the Hall of Fame and huge respect within the boxing world, sadly something one A.Mundine will NEVER realise.

Anthony's only claim will be the most hated sportsman in Australia. Geez that's a great accolade to live with for the rest of your days...

Jeff is just a big sook....Great champion...But still a whinger.. The "i told ya so" remark is deadset spot on. Maybe if they worked together (Fenech and Mundine) they'd have conquered the States by now... But it's not gonna happen... Mundines a hack now, had potential but has wasted it fighting here in Oz....
