I would much rather watch fights on TV but from where I was watching it looked very messy....I had the fight even after 8 rounds Choc looked like he picked up to his old self rounds 9 and 10.... Not talking about the knockdowns but more so choc moving and spinning off and countering....if he did that from round 1 it may have been a better fight Props to Wood for being such an awkward ******* and he will give most domestic fighters hell Choc has seen better days but credit to him to comeback late in the fight and finish stronger End of the day choc just might get his title shot late this year after all
Ash There may be an extremely remote chance of Mandy getting a world title shot in 2011. But there'd be ZERO chance of him winning it. I'd put the house on Austin Trout if that ever happened.
That's right....mundine to fight for a world title in 2011....so CHB will he or won't he fight for a world title this year?
Let's take the BOXA rose coloured glasses off for a minute and look at things objectively: 1/ It's mid April and Mundine has just had 8 stitches inserted into his face as a result of struggling to edge out the least experienced fighter he's ever fought - the same one who beat him last start. 2/ There's talk Mundine's next fight will be in New Zealand - stitches permitting - and no doubt it'll be another of his famous tune-up, time-wasters. 3/ Reports have Austin Trout, the WBA light middleweight champ about to sign to fight either Agentinian Rodolfo Ezequiel Martinez or Mexican Marco Antonio “Dorado” Reyes. So Trout, who apparently does at least know who Mundine is, has his hands full for a while. 4/ If Trout happens to lose his title, the chances are his victor won't even know who Mundine is. If Trout wins there's probably a remote chance they'll be able to engage him. 5/ The other remote possibility is if Daniel Geale wins the IBF middleweight title from Sylvester in Germany (a tough assignment if ever there was one) and BOXA can buy their way to a crack at that title, should Geale win it. Will Mundine WIN a world title in 2011 like you so confidently predicted - not a chance in hell! Will Mundine manage to challenge for a world title in 2011 - probably not, and if he does he'll get humilated based on recent performances!
It's so unlikely I'll take a no, and like most others here I'll be watching with great interest how your cocky prediction that he'll WIN a world title in 2011 fares! atsch
