Actually, quite often. I'd be interested to see the numbers, but I'd bet if its two HW's, both regarded within top 30, there would be an upset about 25-30% of the time. And on paper, there was plenty of reason to believe Chisora was better than Pulev.
just watching pulevs fights and chisoras fights previously this fight was fairly easy to call / albeit pulevs grab and clinch inside work spoiled the spectacle of the fight. odo got it right in his ****ysis except for the stoppage part.
More like 2 rounds. If Wlad had him almost out in 1... Pulev can't deal with pressure. He looks like he never even sparred. He looks surprised when people close the distance or punch back. Like he doesn't understand what's happening. The result of having low level coach and an absolutely incompetent team, plus not having international sparring partners. Pulev had potential. But he's finished. He's a gatekeeper.
Pulev was awful. Spent most of the fight hugging Chisora or complaining to the ref when he was being punched in the face.
