Look at Floyds face after the fight. He has 2 swollen eyes. Yeah weak flurries alright.

Please tell me how does a fighter who throws nearly 600 punches, not pulling the trigger.

Uhh the fights online, Oscar threw 62 punches in round 10. YEah he was tired and couldnt pull the trigger.:patsch
Umm Mayorga basically won most of the middle rounds. 7,8,9 were Mayorga rounds.

Stopped him good? Umm Mayorga hurt his hand. Cotto Didnt knock him out.

Umm smashing a fighter is what Oscar did. Losing 3-4 rounds and stopping the guy because he pulls out with an injury is not smashing LOL!.
ROFL! Go watch the Paul Williams vs ANtonio Margarito fight clown. Margarito makes Paul Williams look like Pernell Whitaker. Anyone can look like a master boxer vs Margarito lol.

Oscar would have caught Margarito with left hooks all night, blocked all his weak ass punches and stopped him. Very similar to how Mosley did it, but earlier, just like Oscar stopped Vargas and Mayorga earlier then Mosley, Oscar has always been the harder more fundamental puncher.
quote]mosley has several inches on cotto and look what happened.[/quote]
Yeah Mosley was coming on strong and Cotto ran. Besides that a Mosley with Nazim in his corner beats Cotto's ass. :good
A past prime Cotto beats a prime Cotto's ass. Cotto is the 2nd most overrated fighter on ESB.

and how many of those are power punches? all those shot were almost jabs and weak flurries. go and watch the fight again.

post the compubox link. and please see my post above.

and that middle rounds was all mayorga could show up. basically mayorga has one clear round and the other two was close, all the other rounds, cotto controlled him by his stinging jab.

haven't you see how how hurt mayorga was when cotto clocked him good with a left hook. it was game ender, mayorga was disoriented retreating to a corner compalining his hand? if you missed that shot maybe you are watching something else.

you speak like williams dominated the whole fight. margarito came on strong at the end of the fight, something oscar would not do. there's a reason why oscar chose forbes and pacquiao instead of margarito. if oscar could not even stop forbes how could he stopped margarito? you are getting ******ed with your resoning and its not funny anymore.

ahve you watched the fight? mosley was basically going after the KO after getting outboxed by cotto for most of the first 9 rounds. cotto fought beautifully on th backfoot and won 2 of those 3 last rounds 9some agve mosley 2 of the rounds because of his aggressiveness).

no way a past prime, part-time boxer, cannot pull the trigger, and gassing oscar beats prime cotto. if oscar cannot beat forbes after the floyd fight, imagine what cotto can do to him. and who is the most overrated fighter in ESB? i can guess your answer already, maybe it was the other person that floyd ducked, am i correct?

    Mayweather's Wins at 140 + ,Baldomir,Judah,Mitchell,Hatton,DLH,Mosley,Marquez,Corley,Bruseles,Gatti

    Pacquiao's Wins at 140+ , DLH, Hatton, Mosley,Cotto,Clottey,Margarito

It isn't even close to who has fought the better opposition .... stop clinging to worthless points. Pac's resume at the higher weights is much better... Pac's resume at the lower weights is much better.

I think I've seen the fight more then you *******. Oscar threw 341 power shots. Yeah cant pull the trigger. :patsch

Umm the compubox is in the fight. You can see the fight on youtube. Didnt you dumbass tell me to watch the fight? I've seen it, I know the compubox, put some quarters back into the laptop at the internet cafe and watch the fight. :good
Wait you said that once Cotto figured out is style he destroyed him. It took him 10 rounds to figure out his style?
He won the first 6 rounds. And 8 of the first 10. He pretty much did better against Margarito then Cotto did against Mayorga.

Please dont chane the subject dumbass ******* btw. THe subject is on how good Cotto looked boxing Margarito, my retort was that a pretty one dimensional Paul Williams looked even better. AS in anyone can look great boxing Margarito. Please come up with a retort that stays on subject. :good

Once again ******* you lack even basic reading comprehension. WHen did I say the Oscar who fought forbes beats Margarito? That Oscar was a year older and weight drained. I said the Oscar of the FLoyd fight at 154lbs destroys MArgarito and Cotto. Please stay on subject. :good
He ran. Just like he ran against ever decent fighter he's ever fought when he's gotten in trouble. Oscar unlike Mosley would jab Cotto to the ropes and finish him.

You've already been proven wrong on thi *******. How can a fighter not be able to pull the trigger yet throw 600 punches lol.

There is now ay Cotto overcomes Oscar's height, length, jab and boxing ability. Cotto has poor defense, poor ring IQ, and basically only has one punch, the left hook. Oscar crushes him.

Umm Mayweather? Consider the fact that most of Pacquiaos opponents are Floyd leftovers, and that the versions of Mosley and Oscar Floyd beat are better then anybody Pacquiao has beaten, its clear its Mayweather. :good

Especially when you add the fact Floyd is fighting Ortiz who is 10 years his junior, while Pacquiao is fighting a 37 year old Marquez that Floyd already dominated.

He threw more power punches than he did jabs. You fail.

He isn't but neither was Mosley when he fought Oscar or Quartey. This is an older Oscar we are talking about. And while Cotto is no Mayweather, he's a pretty decent mover and we all know DLH has trouble with guys who move.

You love pulling those compubox numbers when it comes to Mayweather. Except when Castillo 1 is involved then you turn around and say compubox isn't accurate. :!:

Didn't you know fights are scored on a round by round basis? Jr won the first six rounds and tenth.

Until Oscar gassed in the 2nd half, then Cotto would step to him. Cotto's bodyshots would take the starch out of Oscar anyway. No matter which way you look at it, this would be a close fight.

Prime Oscar dismantles Cotto of course, but 2007 Oscar was a far cry from prime Oscar. A far, far cry.

Please. By the time Oscar mythically "gasses" Cotto would already be in survival mode.

Once Cotto felt Oscars power he'd be running for dear life.

Floyd fought Shane Mosley and Juan Manuel Marquez back to back. Now Pacquiao is doing it front to front. Seems Pacquiao is a Mayweather wannabe.

compubox is not entirely accurate right? what had oscar did in the floyd fight that he did not do in the forbes and pacquiao fight? yes you are right nothing. he kept moving forward with a jab and that is all he have. he also pulled 400+ punches (8rounds) in the pac fight and 800+ punches in the forbes fight does it mean something? oscar was a shell of his former self. cotto would beat that version of oscar that floyd fought who gassed around the 8th round. oscar didn't show any of his boxing abilty by that time.

just face it, the oscar that floyd beat was nothing more than a part-time boxer and part-time promoter. cotto, amrgo and williams would of smahed him the same.
