id say for sure the timing he fought mosley was bad. he was coming of a loss then a draw i think . there had to be better options.

rios isnt bad but the fight makes sense pac needs to get back on track both quality fighters and both coming of losses.

Clottey was coming off a 50/50 fight that many believed he won against Cotto. That said, many people also demanded that Pacquiao beats the "real" winner when he was announced to fight Cotto. His performance against Pacquiao doesn't erase those facts.

 

Pacquiao should not lose against someone in Rios' fighting style unless he gets caught cold. Technically, Pacquiao is far superior. If he gets overwhelmed against Rios then it's time for him to retire.
