Okay, initially I was a Lee fan. I actually bought into what Steward had to say about Lee being able to take out Pavlik (maybe now it's an even fight). That same night, Lee got befuddled by a tough chin in Brian Vera. Not by actual punches, but the fact that he couldn't punch a guy out caused the confusion. If you're landing, ain't nothing wrong. Just keep landing, and keep moving to land some more. So, now Steward has gone and said it again. I still like Lee, but I'm no longer a fan. Lets hope Stewards words haven't overfilled the Lee balloon.
The man needs to be tested. I reckon he can be in with the best, whether or not he can beat them remains to be seen. He's got pedigree, power, no little skill, heart.. At the minute he's probably a 7/10 challenger and with a big win to his CV (hopefully the people responsible for him can secure one) he'll be ready to challenge for a title. I do agree with the poster on talking up his chances, but he's doing what he has to do to get attention, that's all
Andy Lee is a bum, a career journeyman, he will never be elite, he will never be gatekeeper level. Just accept it and move on.
you are an embarrassing clown - take up watching another sport because you know nothing about boxing! :good
Don't expect him to say otherwise, it's his fighter and it's his job to give him confidence. I hate Lee to death really but he's hardly done and out of it, it's more than enough that he's young and still rising.
