Does he deserve a title shot more then?

He would be better off in the long run getting some experience.

I agree with this but it's the principle of it. Wlad said that he was a man of his word and even though Chisora didn't deserve a fight and it shouldn't have got in the way of the Haye fight months ago, Wlad said he'd give Chisora a shot at the titles because he was a man of his word.

    What happened to that?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not bothered we won't see a Wlad/Chisora fight but it's the principle of it.

Reeno at the Scene says hes spoke to both camps and the fight is 100% on for April 30 still.
Wlad can only pull out through injury.

The main thing is that the match gets made.

It's a tough deal for Chisora but if he gets decent step-aside money and maybe the promise of a shot at the winner down the line then that's ok by me.

I don't think Wlad deserves any criticism for cancelling......if it meant securing the Haye fight.

    Let's get it on!

Ok, Wlad is a lying SOB with no chivalry or honour in the classical sense, but he is the champ, and he is getting older, and he cannot afford to waste more time if negotiations do not come through, which they might, if Chisora is not the "stay busy" backup plan than who is?

Agreed--I'm disappointed as well, just from an honor perspective :/

It may have been now or never to fight Haye, though, and Chisora will be around for years. If Wlad signed to fight Haye and was injured after the Chisora fight, Haye could take one final bull**** fight for a paycheck, retire, and claim forevermore that Wlad ducked him. There's still plenty of time left in Wlad's career for him to take care of Chisora, and I hope he does--he owes it to him.

I actually think this is good for Chisora..... He got way more exposure than he should have ever got at this point, he probably will get a shot after the fight anyways and this way he keeps his career for at least one more fight..... because the beat he would have recieved would be damaging to say the least.

Just looked at that too..I don't believe it's canceled as of now..not until some real statement is made by either camp.
