Was watching this compilation a friend of mine put together and it took me back to that fabulous era in the late 1980s early 1990s...you had the old guard like Tubbs, Witherspoon, Dokes , Weaver etc and then you had the new breed like Morrison, Mercer, Lewis , Seldon and Bowe. You had Tyson, Douglas, Tucker and of course Holyfield. And in that mix you had 70s legends Foreman and Holmes. Wow what an era....
You can't argue with Number 1 either!

That was an exciting Era round about that time, late eighty s early ninety s. Tyson at the top, the old guys still around trying for a shot at him.
The young Lewis, Bowe, Morrison, Mercer, Moorer all showing promise.
Holyfield started his heavyweight journey and old Foreman restarted his.
Yes, it was quite a time for us boxing nuts.

And to respond to the poster who asked does Povetkins knockout prove that smaller men could tackle the behemoths of the division ..well you only have to look at Witherspoon here..

It's big dfference between a fat big fighter and a ripped, muscular one. Unfortunately Povetkin is small by muscle mass
but his about 224 pounds bodyweight isn't small compared to Haye's weight against Valuev.
I can't see big weight difference between
Povetkin and the fat man Whyte considering Joshua beat a fat Andy Ruiz who outweighed him by more than 40 lbs.
