So either you didn't write this, His conditioning and commitment declined steadily from spinks on. or I misread it? So I ask you once again, what was it about those 6 rounds in 2 fights between Spinks, and Douglas that makes you arrive at this conclusion. I mean were his punches fluid and fast enough when he got rid of Williams in a round for instance? Only you see I get the impression you are like a lot of other Tyson fan boy types, happy as pig's in sh!t when he was knocking people over like ten pins, but looking for any and every excuse because Buster exposed and smashed the guy.
Or you didn't read the whole thing. Go argue with someone else it's my opinion. I'm not pretending to know things I don't like some people. Sent from my XT1563 using Tapatalk
No, he had lost to a guy called James Douglas. Badly, very badly in fact. Out of interest are you a descendant of a lady called Enid Blyton? Only she wrote some wonderful kiddies fairy tales. The problem with your opinion is the facts don't back them up. A total of 104 rounds boxed in 21 fights between Jan 86, and Feb 90, with only 4 of them going the distance, the last of which was more than 2 and a half years earlier, appears to make you yet another Tyson apologist, who is allegedly wise after the event.
Tbf tyson was always going to slip prison or no prison. He was on the slide prior to being incarcerated anyway. Still think he would have still beat them all if he was training right anyway Some posts on here nonsense regarding tyson. Basically it gets them some attention. Either that or they dont know what they re talking about. Buster douglas although he was terrific on the nite and deserved the win. He won that fight more because tyson was so bad for whatever reason. Douglas wouldnt have been the only one to have beating that version of tyson But tyson without the problems was better than all them names. A lot of people had better careers that tyson but few were better than him at his best.
Hey, it isn't my fault you made 2 conflicting points in 3 sentences. You seem to be arguing with yourself, never mind me or anyone else.
My guess would be tyson beats evander in 91 late TKO or decision in a close fight my reasons and in depth ****ysis is in a seperate thread i just made, then tyson beats bowe in the mid rounds by brutal KO, with the fight being even up to then, Bowe troubling tyson with his great jab and nailing him with his uppercut for a few rounds but once mike gets to bowe he finishes him. Bowe did not have that great of a chin, even in his prime and he was there to be hit so mike takes him. He could even take him early if Richie Giachetti got him to move his head again like he did in the 1997 Bite fight. that would allow him to slip the jab of bowe much easier and knock him out earlier. He beats michael moorer in a 1 round KO in 1994 then fights big george which is a tossup for me although i lean slightly toward tyson because by then george was slipping bad. Either way he would take bad punishment. He beats lennox lewis by brutal KO. anytime before the nielsen fight tyson was still fast enough to find lennox chin. and thats all he would have to do. mike is a power puncher, lennox is chinny its that simple. now when they fought in 2002 mike did not have one SINGLE connect with a good right hand, or anything at all, except a few jabs early and a few bodyshots. He was out of shape and lennox was bigger and stronger than he was been in 1996 but tyson still made it to round 8, assuming tyson fights him when he is in his late 20's and in good shape I would say he could definitely take 10 rounds of punishment. Now anyone who tells me that a 28-30 year old mike tyson who has been keeping active and has a good trainer in Giachetti, would not be able to land one solid punch on lennox chin is crazy. remember even if he only lands one good punch, with mikes power and lennox chin thats all it wuld take to hurt him bad even if he doesnt knock him out cold. and mike is an ATG finisher. I think mike eventually loses a rematch and a rubber match to evander holyfield in 2 close fights, evander adapted and mike despite all his talent knew only one way. and if he doesnt retire by around 1997 he will start to decline and eventually start having a tough time with david tua and ike ibeabuchi
