This guy is in a false sense of security, he is seriously undereatimating Bernard. He also thinks hes beaten better fighters than B-Hop lol

Its so cool to talk like htis when your fighting a 43 yeard version of the fighter who would have handed your ass on a plate in his prime

Frauds don't rack up 21 title defenses and defeat fighters such as Mikkel Kessler, Chris Eubank, Robin Reid, Jeff Lacy, Richie Woodhall, Charles Brewer, Byron Mitchell, and Mario Veit, while remaining undefeated.

Nothing wrong with a bit of confidence and rightly so. Do you think Bernard is treating Joe with the respect he deserves? He basically showed a lack of respect to every white fighter on the planet

...and the cards weren't stacked in Bernard's favor when he fought Trinidad, De La Hoya, and Wright?

wow that was an impressive list. I mean those guys have only been beatten by the beat. such as Richard Hall and Rafael Williams. Man with a resume like that why do we even talk about any other fighters when it comes to p4p:roll:

It's not a list filled with ATGs, but it's filled with quality opposition (and one elite fighter in his prime). I'll go as far as saying Kessler is the best win between Hopkins and Calzaghe.

He was fighting with a pro Puerto rican crowd vs Tito, he wasnt the favourite. He was 42 when he fought Wright, Tarver was favourite vs him.

Kessler is not even a P4P fighter, he an over rated dude whos best wins were mundine/Beyer. That says it all about Kessler.

Trinidad was a naturally smaller man who was at a stylistic disadvantage, De la Hoya didn't belong at middleweight, and Wright was forced to move up to 170 pounds - a weight he doesn't belong at either.

If you were able to look at film from an unbiased perspective, you'd actually realize that Kessler is a superb fighter. Not some 2008 version of Tommy Morrison:patsch

Well, since he isn't in his prime or anywhere near - every card in your house of cards crumbles.

Your title alone suggests that you shouldn't be allowed to post ever again.

you base your opinion of Kessler being a superb fighter, based on watching him fight average opposition.

Against a average opoosition he should be looking good.

He fough an excellent Champion (though not a Great) and lost 117-11.

He didnt look good then. All he had was the same thing JAB JAB right hand. He couldn't adapt, something great fighters can do aka Hopkins.

It is easy in hindsight to say Hopkins beat Trinidad coming from Welter, well before the fight Trinidad was the Monster. Also do we degrade Hagler beating Hearns coming from Welter, or Hagler struggling with a lightweight like Duran?. No, we dont, we give him credit because he beat a GREAT FIGHTER. Something Calfagi could never do. Though he is goign to attempt it vs a 43 year old one.....ooooo hes a brave fighter.

I'm confused her - is this Kessler, who people are saying is nothing, the same Kessler that everyone said was the best in the division, Calzaghe was ducking and who would hand Calzaghe his ass on a plate if they ever met?
