Was a question about "Tip the Stream provider" I know 0 about modern culture but are they suggesting we could pay them an extra fiver if we enjoyed the night?
I haven't seen the survey but that's crazy if true. I'm going to take an educated guess that they are 'borrowing' this idea from YouTube where during a live stream viewers can (assuming they are watching live and signed in with their YouTube accounts send a super chat with a donation attached to it, can be anywhere from .10 to 500 USD I think. Why on earth would anyone want to tip DAZN- a streaming app set up by a billionaire? That's beyond absurd. With YouTube there is some logic behind it as 70% of the money you tip does actually go to the person running that YouTube channel, some smaller YouTuber's don't make much, and depend on the channel for their living so fair enough if it's someone you follow and want to give them a bit of support. But to tip DAZN????
DAZN overpays Eddie Hearn. The events Eddie Hearn / Matchroom arranges for DAZN are not at all worth the money DAZN pays.
