I watched it in full pretty much as soon as it went up, got a notification. I might upset a few of my fellow Brits here and AJ fans.

Did anybody catch what Hearn said about the contract, a little bit of information that made me think "Hannnng on Edward"

Hearn said something like "if Wilder really wants the fight he'll get 15 million and if he wins a rematch worth 50/50"

I am paraphrasing, it was something like that, a little throw away line, now WTF is he talking about there?

I was under the impression if Wilder won the first fight then the money would be reversed in the second or at the very least Wilder would get the lions share but Wilder wins and then gets 50/50?

That is a BS offer, if I heard that correctly and that's the offer.

 

Also, Hearn said "I'll give him 5 million to fight an opponent of his choice"

Then directly after that read the email he sent and he read out "5 million to fight a mutually agreed opponent"


So Edward, it's not an opponent of Wilders choice, it's one you will have to "OK".

 

This sums up how I feel about these "negotiations" which seem to have being going on since the dawn of time.
