Honestly amazed that even wilders advisors aren,t driving him to the UK to sign for the 15 million. Their not really going anywhere with wilders career....even after beating Ortiz what's left for him to generate huge money. Nothing really...next is a step back against breazeale in a smallish money fight.

Surely this is what they,ve been building towards. Had terrible promotion. Never been a massive Olympian. No great fan base. Fought low level guys...the easiest path they could find. Won the belt off a low level title holder. Lowish money bouts. Joshua the absolute opposite of all that. They,ve got all the way to the big money one....then basically ran away from it.

I think a lot of these american guys maybe have too much money behind them if anything....allows them to turn a very good offer down. Because that's a very good offer considering wilders position. Could they hold off for more...possibly. At the same time its a stupidly high risk in the heavyweight division.

If I was Joshua it would be a take it or leave it offer. Plenty of opponents to make money off without wilder...easier fights as well. Everyone chases the money man...for some reason wilders not chasing. You,ve got to question that

Details were provided. Eddie confirmed that the money was real, the fight would be in the US, etc.

Yeah but the difference was that the ‘B’ side in that fight (MacGregor) actually wanted to fight!

Agreed. Which is why they did try to take the fight, and asked to discuss the offer, set up two face to face meetings both of which Wilder's team cancelled.

Sorry to say it but you Yanks just come off looking shook at worst and amateurish at best. You have a proud heavyweight tradition as well as being the big players in financial terms and have lorded it over the world, now the tables have turned you don't want a taste of your own medicine and definitely not from the Brits.

They turned the fight down when AJ said he wouldn’t fight in America. Neither he nor Eddie said it was because terms weren’t provided ... they were, which Eddie has acknowledged.

AJ’s team flat-out said “the money is there, the offer is real” and “I don’t want to fight in the USA and I’m willing to take less money to do it in the UK.” Did you miss that part?

Hang on, didn't Hearn actively arrange 2 meetings with team Wilder about all this when he was in the US? and hang on another second, didn't Finkle cancel BOTH meetings? hhhhhmmmmmm

are you still stupid or are you beginning to see the light?

Wilder can still pick his opponent, but ibvibvobviouhe can't be paid $5m to fight Dustin Nichols.

Even at that, picking that part out when he's already agreed to fight Breazeale seems like nit-picking.

If Hearn is delaying getting back to Wilder by taking 48 hours to confirm the date and venue (why is this relevant to someone who wants the fight and is accepting a purse anyway?), what is the Wilder team doing by taking 4 weeks to respond to a contract offer and then another 2 weeks to respond to a second offer?

I wouldnt have taken that 50m to fight in the states either

Joshua can make that here in 2 fights 3 if you wanna low ball

If haymon paid out 50 mil for a wilder fight which is approx 25x more than any wilder fight so far you better belive there will be all kinds of corruption..... all kinds

It was a stupid comment for joshua to make but im not gonna hold him to selling his soul.

    He'd get kovalev-ward 1'd AT BEST
