I’m also under that mindset it’s just unfortunate that most people will be too worried about wilder to get excited for what is an excellent fight.

Dude Im also a fan of Joshua and understand your frustration at times with Hearn, I cant help but think there is tons of postering going on between Hearn and Finkel/Wilder, always trying to get one over the other. I just want to see Joshua spark Wilder out cold (which will happen). I bored of all the "they don't want it" etc.

Both sides are to blame but lets not forget all the **** Wilder has said, if you want to just look at the fighters its easy to see who is the more deserving champion - don't forget that.

Totally agree. As much as it annoys me that Wilder is going to get an inflated payday having taken the route he has its not about him. This fight needs to happen for the good of the sport.

Just checked out ESPNs top 10 HWs
When considering the who’s ducking & who’s being protected question or who’s resume is better this makes interesting reading and the FACTS can’t be denied!

    1 Joshua
2 Wilder (contract on the table to fight Joshua but won’t sign it)
    3 Parker (lost to Joshua)
    4 Povetkin (Joshua’s next opponent)
    5 Ortiz (lost to Wilder)
6 Pulev (pulled out of fight with Joshua)
    7 Breazeale (lost to Joshua)
    8 Whyte (lost to Joshua)
9 Miller (no connection to either)
    10 Takam (lost to Joshua)

Notable additions to resumes of both fighters
Joshua - Wladimir Klitschko/Charles Martin (then HW Champion)
    &
Wilder - Bermaine Stiverne 1 (then HW Champion)

1 million threads and posts this past week arguing over who's ducking who, Has a single person on here actually read somebody else's opposing argument and actually changed their mind? 99% of the posts i see are people who already have a bias and agenda and won't change their mind no matter what facts or evidence are presented and are not having a discussion looking for the truth.

True but we could even just strip it to the basics and ask what fighter historically has shown his ready to fight anyone?

Joshua deserves the benefit of the doubt simply because his resume shows a guy wanting to face all challengers.

Wilder's resume shows no such ambition.

    I agree.

I don't put blame on just one side and it's a fact Josha is the "money side", that can't be denied even by the most hardened Wilder fan.

Wilder has talked too much crap, that has caused problems, he hasn't helped the situation.

Hearn hasn't helped either in my opinion and neither has this DAZN deal, I honestly believe this deal has complicated a few things, they obviously want AJ on there and Hearn might have (I honestly don't know) agreed to put AJ on a couple of times with the belts at a huge stadium for DAZN.

So it's not just the risk of AJ losing the belts becaus there is a possibility of remedying that with a rematch and both fights would make huge money but it might be the risk of not having a few huge nights for DAZN considering they have stumped up hundred of millions.

    It's crazy....

You could get ringside seats at some of Hearn's smaller events for that....and still have enough for your bus fare home.

It just amuses me when someone starts bragging about paying $100 for PPV, e.g. Mayweather v Mcgregor.....
When we get the same exact product for $25.

It's similar when some fans insist a fight MUST be in Vegas, citing some made up "Fight capital of the world" reasoning. All that does is allow casino's to jack up prices, and comp the good seats for casual fan high rollers and attention seeking celebrities.

It's almost as if some fans WANT to have to pay $75-100 for a PPV, to show their guy is a 'star'. Crazy.

Hearn and Joshua are proof you can both get very rich while asking respectable prices to watch their shows. If they were charging American prices for PPV,s and seats they wouldnt be doing the numbers they are.

    Never understood that either.

Unless you are in Vegas looking to attend the fight, why does it matter where it is?

When you're watching it on the TV, it really doesn't matter where it is.
I personally prefer watching the UK events as the atmosphere is more 'real' to me, not just full of celebs etc......
(All the commentary teams are pretty annoying imo).

I admire the UK atmosphere! Love the singing the whole crowd gets in to. We have nothing like that in the US. Wife and I would love to move across the pond.

Get it throught your heads, Wilder does not want to fight Joshua, he knows he will get knocked out!

Some people like it, some don't.

I just prefer the fact that on the TV it slightly drowns out Adam Smith going on about "It's a pick what you like fight", when one guy hasn't landed in 12 rounds and has been knocked down 14 times.......

I wish it was on the US fights so I don't have to cringe when Jim starts trying to lecture Roy Jones JR on why a fighter cruising to a UD should go for a KO.

I think it's just a cultural thing though.

I can't speak from the US side of things. But we treat it as a night out. Maybe go for a few drinks before the event, a few more drinks whilst watching the event, a bit of a sing song.....actually feeling involved in the fight, then when its over probably go onto a bar/club or something.

    It is what it is....

Wilder is the true loser when all said and done.

Same as Bowe was with Lewis.
