Boxing boards can only enforce the rules against those who are caught. You fail a drug test, you cheated, you pay the price.

To say "AJ looks suspicious, from my vast knowledge of these things it's impossible for him to have that physique without cheating, thus we're going to suspend him with no evidence" is equivalent to a prosecutor saying, "Look at the defendant. See those shifty eyes? That guilty smirk on his face. You MUST convict him of murder ... even though we cannot place him at the scene of the crime and have no evidence that he broke any law."

Tyson failed a test. He REFUSED to take a test, which is a fail. He also tested positive for cocaine. The board should treat him as a three-time drug cheat and rule accordingly, hedgehogs be damned.

every pro athlete on earth is on something. the whole game is not getting caught. fury got caught on roids and on coke. his fault.

he is obviously smarter than fury and pays more for the undetectable stuff. maybe he got holyfield or lance armstrong to coach him. they are all on something. only the stupid ones get caught though.

your whole defense of fury is fat guys don't use steroids? well, that is downright ridiculous. numerous fat pro wrestlers have died from steroid abuse. every lineman in pro football is on them. most of them also qualify as morbidly obese.

 

guess fury should have spent his millions on the wlad fight on lawyers then. not cocaine, booze, steroids, and who knows what else.

 

seeing most chicks without their makeup is scary. even the most arrogant ones are usually suddenly humble, when you can see what they really look like.

 

My view is that most athletes are pushing the rules of what is and isn't acceptable to the absolute limits - just like they do on the pitch or in the ring. I don't believe they're all blasting the steroids like prime Arnie. I personally think AJ, armed with a team of experts, is taking everything he can possibly get away with - within the rules.

Didn't surprise me when Sharapova and Povetkin were done for Meldonium soon after it made the banned list. I'm sure half the stuff AJ is on now will make the banned list in 5, 10, 20 years.

1. They all are. Both Fury and AJ.
2. What I object to is how UKAD can take themselves so seriously with Fury when a guy like AJ is walking around.
3. AJ isn't smarter, he's just hired professional cheaters. If you have the money, the rules go away.

 

He's probably speaking in terms of monetary value overseas.
