I hope Fury gets the all clear to fight. Why would they let him fight Wlad after the positive test came in. Only to pull it out the closet when he made several controversial comments..
Well it's more obvious with Joshua because his stats are so insane. Genetic potential can account for some level of variance but guys on the very borderline of what is achievable naturally are obviously going to be more under suspicion than others.
The thing is though, Absolutely: If you make a mental list of those guys who were actually caught for PED abuse in boxing, they weren't the most ripped. They were the Bothas, Toneys, Tepers of the world. Either chubby underachievers or chubby have-beens in the twilight of their careers. Not exactly supremely ripped individuals.
Nope, defo not. This isn't the era anymore where you can get away with stuff like that. These days we do tend to be overly sensitive but things Fury has been saying is just career suicide and so irrelevant. Fury beatr But this all means ABOLUTELY(!) nothing without any evidence. Imagine you were Usain Bolt and you knew you did it legally, having to hear about conspiracy theories like these...
The guys that got caught doping tended to have a sudden physique change, like Wach was suddenly leaner and had abs, same with Povetkin and Fury. Also Vargas when he fought Oscar was suddenly leaner looking. I think that's a greater red flag for doping than just being huge and ripped. If you go back and look at a younger Joshua even when he only weighed around 230lbs he still looked like a beast. In reality he doesn't have any more muscle mass than Wlad or Lewis but Joshua was blessed with great aesthetic genetics in regards to muscle shape and insertions which makes him look bigger than he really is. It's not impossble that he's clean and he got the physique 100% naturally but in this day and age of doping scandals you'd veer towards the idea he isn't clean. But until he gets caught he's innocent and so should be treated as such.
You could argue the case that the fact that they were caught was evidence that they didn't really understand what they were doing, which would go hand in hand with their less than impressive physiques and the fact they were, in the main, busted for drugs like nandrolone which are extremely easy to detect. There are enough cases of high profile athletes in other sports testing clean throughout their professional careers only to be only later caught through whistleblowers within the industry to think that positive tests are the be all and end all of catching cheaters, especially at the high end of any sport. And in boxing there's always corruption to consider. If I was Bolt and knowing I was doing it all clean I wouldn't care what anyone thought. I'd take it as a compliment. For his own peace of mind I hope that is the case, but the realist in me says otherwise.
AJ is deffo juice to the gills that's why he gasses out after one combernation, imagine he was clean, he would be done after 1 jab, all those peds are working wonders on his stamina
... and if he wasn't on the same or similar drugs to them he'd be behind several of them. I'm not disputing that Usain is the best, and I'm not disputing he possesses the greatest natural talent. It's fanciful to believe he's never taken a PED and yet he beats every other hard-working talented sprinter in history even when they are on the best drugs out there ? It's preposterous to believe that.
Imagine if you were Al Capone and you didn't order the St.Valentine's Day massacre. ..... there was no solid evidence, even to this day it's speculation .... "Benefit of the doubt" is the correct principle in the justice system but this isn't a legal case I'm building so let's get back to common sense conversation. Sometimes common sense is the judge. And scientific likelihood. I have no "conspiracy theory". I really don't care that athletes take drugs. I admire them anyway. I don't support the "anti doping" movement. I'm not looking to convict Bolt. I'm just stating what I believe and why I believe it, and why it makes so little sense to disbelieve it. Believe what you want to believe.
If he went from an elite athletic 230 pounds to 245 or 249 pounds in a short time in his mid-twenties you could just as easily call that a "sudden physique change". A fat guy like Fury coming into some fights less fat than before shoudn't be seen as any more suspicious than a muscular guy packing on even more muscle. They are all doping a bit though, let's be realistic.
Toney was obvious. Despite plenty of surface fat, you could see extreme levels of muscle mass increase since his days in lower divisions (and he was not exactly ripped at middleweight). Toney got caught because his 'roid requirements were high at heavyweight. He was using old fashioned 'roids and using them late in his training. The others you could argue that they got caught because they didn't know what they were doing. It's speculation but perhaps the long-time "big & muscular" types have more experience in career-PEDing. We just don't know.
And what's your theory ? Why did UKAD let Fury fight Wlad allegedly 9 months after a positive test ? Why did UKAD not issue a suspension until what seems to be about 16 months after ? You've already stated plenty of times your own "conspiracy theory" featuring the Furys and an imaginary press black-out gagging order (since c. Sept '16), and that Fury already was proper banned but the press were prevented from mentioning it ... do you still stand by those claims ?
Just lol if you think this isn't achievable natty https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CoOlY_PWcAATgWw.jpg ^^ Now imagine him loosing 25lbs considering he is already ripped, He would be looking on the skinny side,
