Charr is biding his time, working his way up the rankings. He might even crack the top 5 soon.
Let's be honest, that cut stoppage in the Vitali fight was dodgy.

Well, The Ring’s list actually makes sense. Although should Fury be ranked given that he claims he’s retired? If he was active, yes, 100% he’s the clear #1 behind Usyk and I’d bet on him over every other man on all of these lists.

Even with the horrendous loss, I would actually put Bakole in front of everyone ahead of him, and then I'd put Hrgovic in front of Bakole. Very silly list TBH

This is an explanation not a defense.

The champion status removing from ratings while regional belts force ratings bit does get confusing but it isn't without merit.

There is no one on Ring's list who got there based on sporting accolade alone. They are all heavily promoted fighters with strong promotional companies behind them. Exclusively.

Conversely the body listing omit the names you want to see because those men have titles. Parker is a WBO Interim so he is listed by none of the major 4. Likewise, Fury is officially "retired" and so he has withdrawn from the major 4s' ratings boards.

I assume, given OP mentions it, most of you are aware of this situation and just struggle to keep track of it. Reading along the thread, it should not be a question on anyone's mind why Kabayel is not rated on any of the major 4 ratings. Yet here I read some folks are wondering why everyone's rated where they are on the system that does not happen overnight and does have clearly defined rules while praising another that does shift overnight based on writers' opinions alone.

The fighters are why they exist. Parker asked the WBO. Agit asked the WBC. Daniel asked the IBF. Because that is what you do to earn your way through the sport rather than buy your way through the media.

So when you look at the WBA's top spots and wonder why, include the projection of the fighter and the path they took. No one should ever need an explanation for why Interims and Regulars are not rated or why intercons and golds are in top spots. It's been that way since Lewis emailed the WBA almost 20 years ago. They are in contention because they fought for it and won. The time to cry about them getting that honor was before the fight not when you see the aftermath properly rated.

True. Hrgovic did no better against Joyce than Chisora did. Chisora actually scored a knockdown.

Yeah, but overall, Hrgović landed better, crisper punches on Joyce than Chisora.

These ratings go from bad to worse. IBO is the best of the sanctioning bodies, but theirs is "computerized"

I've emailed the WBC, WBO, WBA and IBF how much it would cost me to gain a ranking. I'll pay up to $100 hard earned dollars, CASH, for the "honor".

How is Itauma ranked second and third?

Who has he fought? A good journeyman in McKean?

    Terrible rankings.
