I'd be flattered that he coughed up whatever money or time he did to come up with such a thing...

I can't imagine any emotion affecting training and preparation with the exception of some deep emotional rivalry or something.

 

G G G , is for real man, dont know to much about his opponent only what was on the clip,if he comes running in throwing bombs like in the clip, he s going to sleep early, if he tries to box G G G. He ll get mashed up. Golovkin was a tremendous amature lost only 5 bouts and was knocking boys out then. Has been avoided as a pro big time, whenmayweather hangs up his gloves as the best of all time, this guy will be p4p best. GGG against Canelo would be a good match, golovkin in 8 for me , this fighter is top top drawer.

 

It was sort of broken English, but he said that when he first saw it he was mad, but now he realizes it was just business.

From the thread title, I thought he was going to be saying that for the first time he is mad at a fighter, and would thus punish him, or something similar -- but that wasn't the case at all.

 

I sort of didn't get that impression at all but it makes sense.

 

no doubt this will be a good action packed fight as long as it lasts but I really hope 3G will fight soon with a big name to get more media exposure ( Canelo, Jr or Ward ) .

Thread title's misleading like 'this is the first time I've ever been really MAD', when in fact all he's saying is that it pissed him off when he first saw it, but now gets that it was just a bit of hype.

Worth remembering that to date, Golovkin's not really that used to the kinda promo stunts that are, if not standard, at least not uncommon in the US. In his world (am and pro) fighters respect each other in and out of the ring - (or at least act with respect) and generally have a good word for each other.

 

When is this fight anyway???
