Therefore the WBO Europe is also on the line tonight.

Stieglitz has previously been eager to avoid Kessler, and therefore it will be important for Kessler to get mandatory status if he wins tonight.

I think we all would appreciate Stieglitz to be replaced as "champion".

Still, Kessler.. if he's still got it, has bigger fish to fry than this guy. :smoke

how convenient for bute, He really needs to step it up he should fight direll then, its really unfair how he will get a shot vs the s6 winner while fighting easy fights whle everyone is fighting tougher fights.

So, he will have a choice to do between a IBF title shot or a WBO shot. Will he take the EASY way to win a title? If he fights Stieglitz, this will clearly be meaning he wants no part of Bute. Hope Bute detractors that are saying that he is fighting no one will open their eyes! B-Hop was saying in a article on Datruth boxing that he wants that fight against Bute...could he come down at 168 pounds?!? If yes, do this fight, this will be electric:)

How convenient for Bute if Kessler ducks him by going for Stieglitz' paper title instead? Lay down the crack pipe, kid.

    It is really simple.

Kessler has taken Calzaghe, Ward, Mundine abroad.

Now - Kessler today said that it is Bute's time... "the fight is on if Bute comes to Copenhagen".

Bute's "offer" is of course just another home-fight for the stay-at-home guy.

Let's see if Bute really has the gonads to call himself a fighter - and go on the road in a serious fight.

    ?????

If Kessler can give Bute a better payday in DK than Bute can give Kessler in Montreal, then Bute should travel. Simple as. In my view, Bute would beat Kessler anywhere.

Let's hope Bute's team agrees, because then we will get the fight in the fall.

Kessler has drawn 15.000 - 40.000 fans live in each of the last many fights and that at seat prices which are significantly higher than the prices Bute fights sell for.

Kessler's promoter is surely also richer than Bute's promoter, so the financial side is not an issue... all that is needed is Bute's will to travel.

Bute said he was ready for anyone.

Kessler was invited to Montreal to hype a fight against Bute.

Kessler watched Bute at ringside and said he'd kick his ass anywhere.

    Bute made Kessler an offer.

Now Kessler's promoter, Sauerland, say they haven't accepted Interbox' offer and they want Kessler to fight Stieglitz instead.

And now Kessler wants to fight Bute, but only in Denmark?

...why has Kessler changed his tune?

Money will talk in this one and don't forget Showtime will have a saying in this too...I think they already said they didn't want to do this fight in Danemark, doesn't look good !
