What the ****?? Seriously, that makes no goddamn sense. JCC Jr fights at 154. I mean, Im sure Pac could move up, but that just sounds ridiculous. And JCC Jr isnt even ranked within the top 10 by any of the ABC's.

Im sure Pac could beat the kid, but for what? That does nothing for his career or his legacy.

hmm says.... probably one of the least expected people Pac would have to fight. I don't see it happening since he will have 2 more fights left after Hatton, and facing JCC Jr. would not really bring Pac to super ATG stardom. It has a potential to be a good match but I just don't think fans had him or want him for Pac's last two.

 

heres hoping though. you never know what that old fart arum could actually do. i mean pac has like three more good fights in him and being in the ring with jcc jr is a total waste..

wouldnt mind seeing him against prime 135 lb champs or even 140 lb champs. but not jcc jr please.

 

this is just one of those hairbrained things that can be broken down into profit margins large enough to have arum and his braintrust (and i use that label with full awareness of the irony) trying to find a way to make it happen when, in fact, there is no realistic way it could happen. chavez jr., as some of you have rightly pointed out, is growing into a full-sized middleweight and pacquiao was living on borrowed time and impossibly fortuitous circumstances at welterweight.

good for a goose and a gander, but if you consider real, physical, cold, hard facts...no payday is going to force this fight...especially because manny can make bigger bucks against guys within sensible weight classes and catch-weights.

jcc jr. will be immensely profitable for an entire career of beating up tomato cans...his father's legend is that strong from tijuana to the yucatan peninsula. jr. is better off trying to get second generation revenge against de la hoya, at least that hoax of a cash cow is possible, if not probable, or smart...for either guy.
