Hey fellow kiwis in the chat. Anyone know what's going on with Kiki Toa Leutele?

Had that war with Justis Huni at the end of 2022, took down Aussie hopeful Toese Vousiutu last year in a action packed fight but now he's gone quiet...

Such a shame he's not more active cause he's must watch boxing, always exciting

Murray is decent he is a big unit but doesn’t appear to have the best chin I would favour Leutele

Murray was out of the ring and essentially retired when he managed to convince No Limit to give him a fight.

I think he said he would be happy to fight either Kiki or Toese before they fought without specifically calling them out. Obviously Kiki won that fight, Jackson looked poor in his comeback but then had an opportunity to spar Nganou before his fight with Fury and then a fight in the US followed not after. Big opportunities for Murray to pass up.

Whilst all this is going on Isaac Peach, Kiki’s trainer, went on a foul mouthed rant about how he feels Jackson is dodging the fight and that he should never mention Kiki’s name, just ripping him to shreds. I saw the interview with Jackson and I’m sure the interviewer just threw out a few names and he said yeah he would have no problem fighting them because he felt he was as avoided as they were.
I think Isaac is a passionate trainer with a good stable of fighters but he gets a little hot under the collar sometimes. He is a bit like a thong wearing Kiwi Angelo Hyder.

I mean I don’t know what it all achieved because Jackson has really helped his career by sparring Francis and getting a televised fight against an unbeaten seppo in the states. Meanwhile Kiki is probably having to work full time still and train when he can.
Which is a shame because I think he beats most of the local level fighters in Oz and NZ including Jackson.

Such a shame that he’s inactive as is much watch TV, such a fun heavyweight warrior

He would be a good durable opponent to test Teramoana.

He was supposed to fight Dhcamad Armstrong on the 29th of November 2024 on a Peach card at the ABA but picked up an injury. Armstrong ended up fighting Maatalla when Francis also pulled out injured. Leutele has been mentioning an upcoming fight date announcement for the last couple of months but nothing has eventuated as of yet.

For those that don't already know Mikhailovich is no longer with Peach.

Yeah I really hope he gets a wriggle on, so many Australasian fighters to throw him in the mix with.

Interesting with The Renegade & Peach, I guess just the end of the line for them as a team?

Yeah he is a relatively entertaining fighter and there is a lot of decent fights to be made in the region like you said. He needs to get back in the ring again soon.

Maybe he is Parker's upcoming fight lol.

At this stage I'd say Leutele is an opponent for up & coming fighters. A 6-rounder with Teremoana would be his best bet. He'd be one of the few out there capable of going the distance with him.
