He's facing Ray "Emperor" Narh (22-1 19KO's) in an eliminator for the #2 spot in the IBF rankings. It will take place on December 5th in South Africa.

Ranee will sign with Seminole Warriors boxing and Branco Melinkovic as co-promoter.

The IBF has reportedly told Campbell to face his mandatory (Ali Funeka) by December 8th. If he doesn't and is stripped, Funeka will fight the winner of Ganoy v Narh for the vacant title.

Hope Ranee can get the big win & the world title fight deserves.
Ranee will always have at least a punchers chance against the very best. :)

Very glad this warrior is getting his chance to make a bit of coin, he has come a long way in a short few years since he came over to Aus, If he loses I'd say a rematch with Katsidis would be hbo worth

I think if he loses it's pretty much end of the line. I doubt Mick's team would risk a rematch. Very little to gain from such a dangerous fight.

    Cheers Ippy.
Finally the Narh fight is coming off, or any fight for that matter.

Even if Ganoy loses I think he has a style that will sell well in the States. Narh is beatable, no doubt about it he is in with a big chance here.

Yeah, I dont think his career is over if he loses. If theres one thing that sells well in america its an exciting philipino.
Im thinking Manny pac and Rey Bautista

Ray Narh wouldn't sign a contract.

DKP fighter Fernando Angulo, looks a likely replacement. He lost a decision to Juan Diaz.

And gave him a pretty hard time early on if I remember correctly.

Really not any easier of a fight because Angulo seems to have a sturdier chin then Narh.

Not an easy fight but Angulo aint 6 foot plus either lol. That's a relief lol.

The Diaz fight is on youtube. Angulo is a typically tough Columbian. No, it's just as hard a fight that's for sure.

Btw, the IBF have approved this fight. So Ganoy v Angulo it is.
