    How can anyone get excited about Ibraganov?
    Sultan could only get a draw against Ray Austin last year .. Ray austin??
    And then the Briggs fight was a joke. One judge had Sultan barely beating Briggs 115-113. Briggs?? Man, the Heavyweight division is really sad if we get excited about a guy that's only going to be another patsy for Wlad.

    Doesn't Wladimir have a contract clause that none of his fights shall be on PPV? I believe I've read that somewhere.

    I couldnt agree more, Iggy fighting Wlad is not really a fight I want to see. This fight will look like the Brock/Wlad fight, Wlad will pick his shots until the middle rounds, thats when Wlad will unload and eventually knock out the weak WBO champion.

    Whilst this will most likely be a an easy and unspectacular win for Wlad, this fight is needed to spark the division into life.

    Noone is really getting excited over Ibragimov.

    They are getting excited over the fact that two titleholders will be starting something great for the divsion, at long last.

    I don't see Ibragimov the fighter, I merely see him as the WBO titleholder... That's all that matters to make this fight so important. Don't matter if its Joe Schmoe holding the title...........the fact that there will be one less title drifting out there, and the pressure it'll put on the two remaining titleholders..........that is what its all about. Not Ibragimov.

    And as has been said, the site that talks about boxing is also giving a pretty promising report on the negotiations. Not done deal, yet, but it seems, from the sound of that short article that the venue is the last remaining thing in question. As someone else said earlier in the thread........I guess we should not get our hopes up, til we sees someone step through the ropes...

    im looking forward to seeing my favorite fighter come through w/a dominant performance and spectacular knockout. i felt cheated when lamon called it quits. im sure wald haters will tune in hoping to see wald flopping around on the canvas like a fish. see everyone wins :yep

    I am a big Wlad Klitschko fan but i say please don't count Ibragimov out. He's a lefty and he's fast when he's aggressive. This is going to be a difficult fight. Iggy is far from being a "weak" champion!
