vitali admitted in his bio that he did and that's why he wasn't in the olympics. it was to recover from an injury and wlad has never had any history whatsoever
I've got a feeling it will be over here. Haye said he doesn't want to fight in Germany again because he finds the atmosphere boring, and Wlad seemed more than willing to fight at Stamford Bridge when it was discussed before.
Seriously? Haye has gained 23 pounds of muscle in a little over a year...and Wlad should undergo blood testing???
It's actually been close to 2 years. And it's not 23lbs, he didn't walk around at 199, did he? A good proportion of that would be water weight. Haye has more time to gain mass than others anyway given he doesn't do road-work.
:good Wlad won olympic gold in 1996 and never tested positiv of anything, since than his weight is 10 pounds heavier in 14 years! Great to hear from Chef :happy:happy:happy
I don't know his street weight. I'm not that close to him. What I know is that his weight went from 198 or 199 to 221 in what...19 months? My point wasn't that he was on steroids, friend. My point was that the other poster was clearly biased for suggesting that Wlad, who has been the same weight for about a decade now, is on roids when clearly Haye's sudden weight gain is more suspicious. Comprende?
I'm sick of this steriod talk. Cheers for the info Chef. This fight happening has never been in doubt if the demands were reasonable from both sides. Talk of ducks shows a lack of knowledge of both fighters.
No he didnt Haye was a BIG cruiserweight. He had to boil down to make weight. He use to walk around before he even began boxing at heavyweight at 220. Look it up he mentioned it before the MACCA fight. THere was a big issue with it because he said after the mormeck fight he struggled to make the weight. Then he had his first fight at Heavyweight where he weighed 215!!!! Warren thought Haye would struggle so thought Haye would be weak come fight night. So to answer your question Haye is practically on schedule regarding his weight
This is what I know for sure. There have been whispers about Evander Holyfield and steroids for years. Those rumours began in earnest after he fought Riddick Bowe the second time. Holyfield went from 205 to 217 in about a year. Haye has gone from 198 to 221 in two years. You do the math. Now, that doesn't mean he's on steroids, obviously. But my response to the other poster was based on the presumption that Wlad was on the juice. My rejoinder was that it is far, far more likely that Haye is on roids that Wlad. But they're probably both clean, so it really is a moot point.
